Well 6 ladies came out tonight to taste the famous Tom & Jerry at The Place. They were just OK...but the somewhat pricey dinners we ordered were beyond acceptable! All except the salad were truly horrible. The Salmon was charred and way over cooked, the Banana Pepper Pasta was so hot it was not edible, the Lemon Risotto was actually rice, and there was no lemon or any flavor to be found! I have been here a few times and had a nice experienced albeit over priced for the quality so I chose the place to celebrate finishing grad school last night and was so so disappointed.
The very unwelcoming hostess (no hello, no smile, just demanded our names and marched us to a dirty table. Great food ! Came out fast and was hot and fresh. Definitely would recommend The Place if you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price.

The restaurant is a true Buffalo classic, with a great bar to sit at and comfy booths. The chicken wings were flavorful and crispy, and the burger was cooked perfectly. The overhead music volume can make it difficult to carry on a conversation.
