I ordered 2 beer battered fish fries and they were the Best Fish Fries I've had in a lllllong time! So delicious and the portion sizes are absolutely Massive! Next time you are in the mood for a fish fry, don't go anywhere else!
I love Wiechecs fish fry. Haven't had it in a few years. While I enjoyed it I wasn't thrilled with the potato or macaroni salad. It's not the same. They also changed their tarter sauce. They use Kens premade tarter now however, I thoroughly enjoyed the fish, fries and coleslaw. The atmosphere remains the same. Love it.
I love coming here when I'm in Buffalo. Had the Fish Fry on 7/22/25, and it was great as usual. A heck of a plate of food for $20. Had a couple of Genny beers, and Gimlet to round it out, and wash it down, and including tax, my total was about $32. A very good deal for a great lunch.
