There are certainly no shortage of great pizzerias to choose from near South Buffalo, but Desi's is my first choice now after having tried quite a few. Ordering is super convenient through the Slice app and they always have it ready very quickly. As others have mentioned, the owner works in the kitchen and has personally prepared every pizza I've ordered. He's incredibly hard working and kind, and he remembers his regulars. I grew up in Kaisertown. We moved out about 15 years ago. We ordered Desi’s tonight for the first time since I bought my last pizza from Dave and Marie. The tacos, pizza sub and antipasto were as good as I remembered.Thank you for keeping the tradition alive. The food was amazing.One suggestion though. Please put garbanzo beans and pepperoncini peppers back in the antipasto salad.I can’t wait to get a Bonanza next!
