“Visited this restaurant on a whim based on reviews last night after hiking Watkins Glen State Park. IT WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! My husband had the duck and I had the trout. We split the mussels and green salad. The wine the beer everything was fantastic and the staff is very attentive. Definitely going back again!!!!“

“The owner is welcoming and very attentive to customer service and the chef is amazing. Althea's has a carefully selected variety of local wines and beers that give you a chance to taste test in one location. The liquor selection encompasses every taste and the food menu has something for everyone. Will definitely be visiting here on a regular basis.“

“Delicious burger and wine pairing! Give Red Newt a try for your next weekend lunch, you'll be glad you did! I had the newt burger with fries and a glass of Red Eft. The local ingredients create a hearty meal that fueled me rather than weighed me down. Can't wait to try another burger or a grilled cheese and soup. They put an elegant twist on all they do with bright and friendly staff.“

“There is so much more we could recommend. We have eaten here several times and we’ve not been disappointed! But something that touched us just yesterday, 2/2/25, was our waiter Shawn! We took our daughter, who has special needs, to Jerlando’s for lunch and Shawn was amazing. Not only was he an excellent waiter, but our daughter wanted a hug and Shawn never skipped a beat and leaned right in and let our daughter hug him!! His kindness toward her touched our hearts deeply! Thank you Jerlando’s for another fine meal and thank you so much Shawn for your extremely friendly attitude and your heart touching kindness to our special girl!“

“Fantastic place! Great atmosphere, nice view and courteous staff. The pulled pork was delicious! Smashing Smash Burger. Chips were a great side to both. Both the Red & Rose and White & Rose flights were nice. I enjoyed the Blanc de Noir and Barn Rose, both had great flavor and enjoyable to drink.“
