Food was excellent. I liked their drinks that I had, and I love the live music. The only thing I didn't particularly care for was the amount of people or the fact it was on a corner with traffic. Parking is further down and you have to walk. But, that's not really their fault and I'm adverse to large crowds so the tables outside are great.

Very good steak dinner. Good selection of local beer.

Visiting from out of town and having the cheeseburger with fries, that was most excellent. I've never had a burger with spinach instead of lettuce before. Fantastic idea!! Very pleased and the Pennies service was definitely with a smile 😃!

There is a swastika in the mens toilet of this place. I struggle to believe that this has not been noticed by staff.

Nice bar/restaurant in a classic building. I got the monster brisket sandwich, it wasn't what I would call "monster" but it was good and filling. Kids Mac and cheese was sad, basically plain pasta with cheese melted on top, which made the pasta oily underneath. The waitress was a bit absent-minded and forgot our water refills after we asked for them.

The only reason they didn't get 5 star is because kits on a hill and you have to climb a lot of steps and my mother and I are handicapped but worth the struggle. Fish & Chips second to no one and I live in nyc.

Food was okay. Our server was very warm and funny. Disappointed only one the craft beer available. The purpose for our visit was to taste their brews. Opted for their Sangria Cider it was delicious.

The food was very good (BBQ Ribs and Cottage pie) but the service left a lot to be desired. Our server was pleasant but VERY slow.

We give this 2 stars ONLY due toThe service which was outstanding. Would have given 1 star if not for her. Wait staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The food
well, let’s say we’ve had better meals at McDonald’s and that saying a lot because we do t really eat there unless we have to. The onion rings were advertised as “beer battered”, they came out breaded
I HATE breaded onion rings and would have never ordered them. I ate the onion out of my rings and we left one (there were only 5 to start with and hubby was hungry so choked two down). He ordered fish and chips
they were glorified grocery market fish sticks, I had the Reuben on rye (it didn’t taste like rye but looked it so they’re using super cheap rye bread). NotMuch flavor, I make a better one at home. We both asked forThe fries well done, they weren’t, so can’t follow simple directions. We explained to the waitress that we weren’t satisfied with the onion rings and asked that they be taken off the bill, she said she had already asked and the manager or whoever was in charge said no. We told her to please tell themWe won’t be back and that they would receive a poor review. Also told her that she’s awesome and needs to get a job where they serve good food.I’ve been wanting toTry this place for a couple of years now, huge disappointment, we won’t be back and I cannot recommend to anyone unless the only thing you care about is filling your stomach and drinking beer.Ps the coleslaw was good
