Callicoon Brewing Company

3 stars for the food, about which we really didn’t have any complaints. Confusing because they’re called a brewery, but they have no beer menu - large sign says “Callicoon Brewing Company” and lists off beers like Miller, Coors, and Budweiser, all of which are fine but you’d expect them to have a selection of their own beers for calling themselves a “brewing company.” They had 2 on tap, and again, no menu or description of them. Odd service, staff seemed stressed and like our presence was a stressful inconvenience, and they were not even that busy. Will not return.

Best beer, great food. Recommend the chicken club sandwich and the salmon dish. Mary Ellen- best server. Attentive and fast. So great to have a local gem that’s actually open beyond the weekend crowd.

Good food and drinks. Frazzled server very accommodating. (Went on Monday when most other places are closed, so kinda busy.) Great prices.

Excellent IPA, really good food

I've ridden by many times and always thought I'd like to try this place for lunch and yesterday it finally happened. My pal and I both ordered the monster brisket sandwich and it was PERFECT!
Service was top notch and the locals were friendly and welcoming.

Will be back for sure.

So Good. The beer on tap was cold and fresh. I got the Pub Steak with blue cheese. It was cooked perfectly. I went to get popcorn after ordering and other patrons were commenting on how good it smelled while my steak was cooking and sizzling. Highly recommend!!

Staff and Stacey were amazing. Food was yummy, especially the beef brisket. I would definitely go back.

Popped in for a late dinner, was a nice surprise. The place we originally intended to go down the street was closed, but this place was still open. Staff was friendly. Food was pretty good, and it was a really chill atmosphere.

We sat down for dinner and we both ordered burgers and asked for it to be medium rare. One came out well done and the other came out rare. We also got the chicken wings. When I took a bit into it, oil came out of it.

Food was excellent. I liked their drinks that I had, and I love the live music. The only thing I didn't particularly care for was the amount of people or the fact it was on a corner with traffic. Parking is further down and you have to walk. But, that's not really their fault and I'm adverse to large crowds so the tables outside are great.

Very good steak dinner. Good selection of local beer.

Visiting from out of town and having the cheeseburger with fries, that was most excellent. I've never had a burger with spinach instead of lettuce before. Fantastic idea!! Very pleased and the Pennies service was definitely with a smile 😃!
