A great place after all day fishing. Atmosphere seemed a little “cool”and prices a bit on the high side for the menu offered, but hours were suitably long for a beer, a burger, and a catch-up with friends.

We happened to find this gem on our way through the area. They were very kind and opened the deck area so we could have dinner with our canine traveling companion. The service and food were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed their delicious Oktoberfest specials. We will definitely stop here if we pass through the area again.

Octoberfest meal of Sauerbraten & Cherry Glazed Duck were absolutely incredible. Sauerbraten was better than my Mom made. Her Sauerbraten is what I base Sauerbratens I have eaten. Service was incredible!
The patio and dining room were nice The food was overpriced and average. Wine also average and pricey. The server was friendly but couldn't answer any of our questions and ended up charging us for something without telling us there would be an extra charge. After reading the great reviews, we were disappointed- their rating is way inflated

Visit the area 2-3 times a year and decided to try the Creek House. Knew it as Matthew's on Main and a plumbing store many years ago. We ordered apps and cocktails. My husband ordered an Old Fashion and I asked if they knew how to make a French 75. They looked it up and she made one of the best French 75's I ever had AND presented in a lovely coup. So good I had 2! If you never had a French 75, please stop and treat yourself Can't wait to see you all again. Our server was lovely as well. Food was good but have to ditch the stuffed claws! Thank you for a great afternoon

Never have I been to a restaurant and can sincerely say it was the friendliest and best quality food ever. We went for my Brothers birthday and sat outside on a perfect fall day and had so much fun! The drinks and food were delicious but Karen’s warmth and humor made it a Perfect day out. Thank you!!

They just denied us entry with our psychiatric service dog. If there's a patio I usually prefer that. We asked for the patio, the lady told us the patio was closed even tho the rain has stopped. Then when I told her he was a service dog and we'd like a table inside, she told us it wasn't possible. When I told her she's legally not allowed to deny entry, she asked what kind of service does the dog trained to do, I said he was psychiatric service animal and showed his ID and she told us that they don't have paperwork and turned around and walked away disrespectfully. They have paperwork and if you choose to pay for an ID you get one. The vibes were off from the get go. We come to Callicoon often and we have our wedding on Sunday at Pleasant Valley Farm. Not only we're going to tell our guests to skip this spot, I'm also going to file a formal complaint about the business first thing tomorrow. After leaving we came to rafter's tavern and they were super sweet and welcoming. Go there instead. The lady at Creek House was extremely rude.
