Disappointing. Was told egg sandwich was scrambled yet they were wet runny eggs. They were sold out of bagels .. it was 930AM on a Monday. Ordered multigrain toast instead, came out with a brioche bun then un toasted multigrain. Husband was already done with his sandwich. Banana bread looked delicious but someone added way too much salt. Had to throw it away. Quite expensive for mediocre. Go to the Tusten Cup in Narrowsburg instead. They pay attention to the details.

I recently visited The Kitchen Table for breakfast with my wife and two friends. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory due to poor customer service.
I ordered an egg bagel and requested that the bagel be scooped out. Initially, the person at the counter said it was fine. However, about ten minutes later, I was informed that they would not honor my request. When I asked why, I was simply told, “We won’t do it.” I then asked if I could scoop it out myself, but again, I was told no. Wanting clarification, I requested to speak with someone in charge. The response remained the same—this was not part of their system, and they refused to accommodate the request.
Feeling frustrated, I canceled my order. The staff member in charge was not particularly friendly and instructed the counter person to process a refund. However, when our meals arrived 15 minutes later, my sandwich was still served. I once again reminded them about the refund, and they assured me it would be taken care of.
Now, 48 hours later, I still have not received the refund. Beyond this issue, the general lack of professionalism and unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable request left a poor impression. Customer service should prioritize respect, communication, and problem-solving, but this restaurant failed on all fronts.
Due to this experience, I will not be returning to The Kitchen Table.

I’ve never been one to turn down any deviled egg – ever. So when I came across the deviled egg sandwich I had to try it. It was solid. I think it could have benefited from more vinegar in the mixture to give it the tartness one expects from a deviled egg.

Comforting atmosphere with the most welcoming staff. Free wifi included! They were extremely sweet and gladly made the best suggestions. The lemon bar was thick, gooey and perfectly dense. Highly recommend for a quick bite, coffee, or even a bubble tea. I will definitely return on my next trip.

The owners have brought their Korean background into their delicious food including the bulgogi beef breakfast sandwiches and grilled cheese. Between that, the cute atmosphere, and yummy coffee I would highly recommend you visit this cafe when nearby!

We love this place and stop in whenever we're around (which isn't much, I'm afraid). Delicious coffee, excellent atmosphere (where did you get those leather chairs?! I want one!), fun seasonal treats. The lemon bar is to die for! My only complaint is that we tried to stop by Sunday morning after checking online that they were open and they weren't.

Lovely little place but the pastries we got were “OK” nothing too special. I tried the mushroom and onion hand pie and blueberry roll. Also, they toasted my hand pie but it wasn’t warm in the middle. Maybe that’s my fault I didn’t ask them to fix it.

I found this hidden gem when I was traveling through the area. Just about everything here is homemade and the bagels come in fresh. The pastries and sandwich was perfect and the drinks were hot and their own piece of work. It was comfortable, clean, and you could smell the fresh scent of coffee and breads - absolute heaven. I hope to be through this area again to maybe try one of their other dishes.

When you order a sandwich here don’t have your heart set on what you ordered. They give you what THEY want.
Ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs and American.
Received a bacon sandwich with a fried egg. When I returned it, I was told they would fix it. The person I was with also ordered a sandwich. Scrambled eggs and bacon. Brought it back and as told that the could not make scrambled eggs because the kitchen was “too full”. (Then why take the order? Also scrambled is easier when busy than individual fried eggs. )
He ate his. Mine came back with the egg runny and cheese (shredded) was cold. Took it back and was done.
If you can’t provide what some ordered and paid for, them don’t take the order.

Ordered a bacon egg on a bagel and a bacon egg on a roll. Both were mediocre. had a coffee and hot chocolate which were lukewarm warm and the hot chocolate was supposed to be a large and the cup was half full asked for hot milk and they looked like I had three heads. Total was $40. Will not be returning poor service, poor attitude and poor delivery boy I miss grizzly bagels. I wish they were still there
