CLEAN space with a homey feel. Beds are remarkably comfortable! Bathrooms have windows to the outside, making the experience so much more comfortable and refreshing :). We stayed for a CMAC concert....the highlight was the motel! Concert not so great...

Stayed here while attending a concert at the CMAC Performing Arts Centre.
This quaint and clean motel was a convenient 10 min walk to venue with restaurants close by as well.
It has such a welcoming and relaxing vibe all around. A well maintained court yard on the property allowed us to stretch back in comfort outdoors and meet some wonderful people staying there. A restaurant is on premises that served up a great breakfast before departing.
Would definately recommend and stay again.

The Lafayette Motel was an amazing find. We stayed only 1 night as we were attending a concert but will be back again! The rooms were spacious, clean and modern (looks recently updated. Our room has a microwave, and mini fridge and a 2 chair dining set. THere was extra bedding and plenty of towels. The property was a pleasant surprise as well. A nice shaded area out front to sit and relax with Adirondack chairs and a large back yard with seating and a fire pit, horseshoe pits and cornhole. There were BBQ grills that could be used as well.
The staff was friendly and prompt to attend to our needs.
The restaurant connected to the motel was a cute, kinda had a 50's vibe to it. They served breakfast (not cheap - around $15 on average for 2 eggs, bacon, toast and homefries), but really good homemade desserts and baked goods) The food was good, the location was convenient and the staff was overly friendly and worth the extra couple dollars per person for breakfast!
This is in walking distance to CMAC (less than 1/2 mile to the ticket gate)
Great little motel.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! My wife and I booked it back in February/March when CMAC announced the Old Dominion show. We had no idea what to expect but were willing to give it a chance because of the reviews online. I’m so glad we did. Debbie checked us in and is one of the most hospitable people I have had the pleasure of meeting. The rooms are simple, but all themed differently. Our room was Buffalo Bills themed which was funny considering my wife and I are diehard Bills fans. The rooms are extremely clean, and have everything you need in them to make your stay comfortable (coffee, extra blankets and pillows already in the room if you need, coffee, tea, etc.) It was an easy 10 minute walk to CMAC for the concert. The morning we checked out we ate breakfast at their diner that’s connected to the motel. Food was excellent, service was fast and friendly. We will absolutely return to the Lafayette Motel anytime we are in town!

Food is excellent but 50 dollars for breakfast for 2 is a little much i realize things are expensive but eggs and potatoes aren't that crazy

Clean and comfortable. No shower water pressure is my only complaint.

Nice little family owned restaurant, excellent food but a little pricey...

Only ate at the restaurant, and it remains one of our favorite breakfast spots. As usual, we also bought a loaf of their house made Raisin Bread!

Food and drinks: Great breakfast! All the omelets are great and the fresh baked bread is fantastic. Never had a bad meal here! Super friendly staff as well, many who have been there for years.

I stayed at this charming hotel for three nights, from October 11-13. The property beautifully blends historical character with modern updates, making it a true gem in Canandaigua, NY. The rooms are tastefully updated with fresh paint, new flooring, and a well-appointed bathroom. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay. Despite it being a holiday weekend, the rates were very reasonable. The room was spotless, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendly, attentive service. A delightful bonus was the on-site restaurant, offering excellent breakfast and lunch options, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

Stop in for a quick breakfast and was overcharged for eggs and toast. Most expensive eggs I’ve had in my life. Wasn’t the first time I’ve been there but it will be the last. - never saw a menu or price list. my mistake but 20 bucks when everywhere else I pay 12 is a bit expensive. you have a nice day.
