Amazing food and music! Large portions, friendly staff, quality was evident! So happy to find this hidden gem.

stopped in on aug 13 at about 1130 a -- I had the french toast which was ok but not anything to write home about - i asked for it without fruit topping -- there was no side order of meat listed and let it go -- coffee was nearly 3 dol for burnt acidic swill that i did not drink it was that bad ---- service was poor in that as we entered there were two service people at counter but still had to ask if we might sit and were told to sit where we liked, 1st table was dirty so we moved to a 2nd table , given two menus that had seen better days - it was limited and uninspiring . on leaving i was presented with the 30 dol bill and the waiter showed me the tip choices deemed appropriate by there machine - i declined and left a lesser but more appropriate tip . -- update - wife was delighted with her food and admonished me for being picky - so I guess it depends

First time here and it won’t be the last. Fresh food, not your typical greasy diner food. Best bacon and sausage I’ve ever had! We will be back!!!!!

I normally am not the type to write reviews. However, this experience was terrible all around. First off, no menu when we were told to seat ourselves. The menu we did receive came right off another table. Kinda gross in my opinion. But not a dealbreaker. We received coffee & had to wait on juice we asked for but didn’t seem to have noticed so had to mention it . Not only that I had no silverware to even stir my coffee until I told NEW owner of the issue . He quickly grab silverware. Only to realize that the fork wasn’t even clean. On to the meal. Grabbing our order was very quick & felt rushed. When we received the food, the eggs was already way underdone. We asked for over medium & barely received over easy. They were clearly not done. Nor even close to over medium. They tried to fix the mistake but still sent out another order NOT EVEN DONE. We both got the log cabin breakfast. My pancakes after eating half we noticed the other side wasn’t even done which made me not even want to eat the rest of my food. I asked for a manager or owner. Server took part of the meal off but I still wished to talked to the owner. He never came out. Wouldn’t recommend, I came here back when the old owners owned this . Wasn’t something to run home about but service & food were alright. Old owners clearly missed here. We were socializing with another table in which they all agreed the same. Not to mention too , I received my bill before even getting my food which seemed a bit rude.

To our surprise the beloved Villager was no longer there. We went in, expecting to find one of our favorite family diners replaced by a lunch menu with six items. Ordered the burger, which did not have the tomatoes on it as the menu stated, and it came with about eight fries that were soggy and tasted like they were cooked in bad oil. $60 for two burgers and a sandwich. Replacing a mid cost family diner with a bougie establishment where you pay $18 for a burger is not cool- and I don’t see this place lasting. The atmosphere was okay (the remodel was nice but very plain) and the service was mid-grade. Although I love farm to table I hate saying it, we will not be back.

Not impressed. Lunch Menu had six items on it and paid $60 for two burgers and a sandwich (and got like eight fries as a side). Totally won’t be back. Love farm to table but that corner needs to go back to being the family diner it once was, not a bougie establishment with such a limited menu.

Our entire experience was awful! The hostess had a horrible attitude from the moment you walked in the door. She pushed the creamer bowl acrossed the table and threw the straws down when we asked for them. The menu is awful. The server lost our order. The food have no flavor. We originally were given two small to go containers of syrup and maybe 1/4 tsp of butter, when we ask for more we were given an attitude. We had to ask for silverware 3 times. Hands down awful. Never again

We had breakfast here for the first time and it was delicious! They did a great job remodeling the restaurant too. The food is farm to table and you definitely taste the difference in the bacon and eggs. The toast was also very fresh. My wife had the omelet with mushrooms, spinach, bacon and a cheese I never heard of before and she said it was so good! I had bacon, sausage eggs and toast and it was also very good. The waitress was attentive and pleasant.

We went to Lincoln on Main for a quick breakfast. We both had the breakfast sandwich with sausage on a grilled hard roll which came with potatoes. It was delicious! Service was excellent as well.

We love trying new breakfast places and were beyond excited to give Lincoln on Main a try. We went around 8:30 am on Saturday 4/6. The inside looked nice and the waitress was attentive. Unfortunately, we were unimpressed with the food. I saw a picture of their French toast dish on their Facebook which looked absolutely delicious, so I ordered that. The French toast I ordered was super disappointing. Burnt and the fruit looked sad. I get that food in person is usually different than pictures posted on social media, but this was like night and day. I was starving so I ate it, but it obviously did not taste nearly as good as I was hoping for. Potatoes were okay, pretty bland. My husband got a breakfast sandwich and said it was pretty good. He agreed that the potatoes were bland. We go on weekly breakfast dates around this area and we hardly ever complain. We love breakfast. We get that this place is fairly new and seems to be a work in a progress, so hopefully it continues to improve. We will eventually return, but not anytime soon.
