Food was very good. They were out of several sushi fish varieties.

It was pleasant enough. But pricey! $3.25 each for TEA! $4 FOR Misonsoup. We each had one side dish. I had soup and potatickers. Hubs had a single sushi and soup. Came to $38 with tip! Clean, warm and kind staff despite not speaking English well. Prolly wouldn't go again due to price but overall okay.

Amazing experience, and the food was just as good. Will go back and try more. The only thing was the soft shell crab sushi was lacking flavor for the price. But overall everything else was great.

I have been coming here for years for my birthday as a tradition and now I bring my kids for theirs. The staff are very welcoming and they always remember me and my children. The food is incredible and the chefs do such an amazing job and really perform for the kiddos. I appreciate all these guys do and I highly recommend coming here for special events such as birthdays or family dinner. The hibachi is my favorite and they food is always fresh. Also, the strawberry fried ice cream…. You will have to try it for yourself but wow!! :)

The hibachi is always great and it's the best sushi in the city of Canandaigua.

Order was messed up. Cook did not seem happy about dietary requests such as no onions. My drink was never refilled after running out during the soup portion.

Food was ok. Calamari was disappointing. It was fishy and was more like on onion ring than calamari. The Hibachi was soooo cold! Too cold to enjoy the food. Steak and shrimp were good. Salad and soup were bland.Overall Ok. Not great.

Every year for a long-time, this has been our Christmas eve spot with my wife and mother. My kids are with their mom, and my wife's kids are with their dad. We sit in the dining room, have way too much food, then spend a few hours at home. We show up around eight times a year, but the tradition is something we really enjoy. I even asked my mom if she wanted to go to another restaurant she came to like in 2023, and she quickly said no. Thank you and we hope to continue the tradition, as well as ll other visits in 2024.Vegetarian options: We have a vegetarian in the family and other limitations. Everyone is fed well.Dietary restrictions: They are clear with their menu (which is large). Express if you have any needs and I am susre they will accomodate.Parking: Standard stip mall with a lot of parking. No issues at all!Kid-friendliness: We have seven kids, and a future daughter in law. I would say we've brought kids there in the range of 8 to 25 through the years. Oh, get the Japanese soda to create excitement.Wheelchair accessibility: Slightly tight to get through the foyer, but can be done. Once inside, no challenges.

It's one of the few opened restaurants during the Christmas day, Dec. 25, 2023. Our travel nurse daughter had brought us here to celebrate our Christmas 2023 during our short visit to her during that season from Canada. The food is great and delicious. Plate serving is more than large enough for one person, the reason why we brought some home for take out. Service is fast, too. Price is more than reasonable. We will go to this place again on our next visit to our daughter next time.

Poor tasting Hibachi. The beef was dry and flavorless. The rice was bland and the veggies were slimy. Had high hopes for the restaurant but didn’t like it. Customer service was great though.

This would be 5 stars except the miso soup was served luke warm at best and the salad consisted of a few leafs of near-stem cut iceburg lettuce with dressing. The sushi was excellent.

When you go in immediately you feel the comforting atmosphere and the service and people there are so nice! The food is beyond incredible, and the servings are very large, so you can always take some home! Itv's ery comfortable and ita's great place if you're looking for a fun and calm experience. The Hibachi is out of this world, and it's so exiting to watch the chef's tricks! Highly recommend Sakura, new favorite place to eat❤️

First japanese restaurant that I've been to that automatically added a 18% gratuity for 2 people with no knowledge then gave me a receipt to add additional gratuity so I suggest you look at your bill down at the bottom and see what they don't tell you because most people don't realize they do that so when you do a 20% gratuity actually your giving 38%

We came to Sakura for lunch and were immediately impressed by the extensive lunch menu. We selected two different bento boxes so that we could each experience different menu selections. The teriyaki chicken and salmon were both delicious. The meso soup had an interesting bacon-like flavor. The vegetable sushi was yummy. The staff were very efficient and were there when we needed something and left us to enjoy our meals otherwise. We intend to come back to try some of their other offerings.
