Have a hard time supporting any new business that attempts to stop a current business from operating. Shame a few people can change a business much loved by thousands. Will continue to complain and spread the word

Wonderful! Also they DO now accept credit cards, as of Sept 2 (though I had withdrawn cash from the hotel ATM expecting that they did no). My puppy and I decided to get ice cream before leaving the hotel. I ordered a bowl of vanilla for us to share, but instead, the kind bartender made her her very own puppy sundae for free! It was adorable, a little bow of vanilla with 2 heart shaped dog cookies. He was very friendly and the setting glorious. Will try sone of the yummy drinks next time!

Cash only for my friends that are as bad at carrying cash as I am. They do have an ATM inside the hotel. Very friendly staff, and delicious drinks. Views that can’t be beat. Plenty of parking and options. The chips and dips were both freshly made and divine. Definitely a must stop when visiting the lake.

We decided to try out the Birdcage on Saturday. It is cash only, wasn't a big deal. We were waiting in line, there was one person ahead of us. The bartender finished making him his drinks, while on the way to give him his drinks Another guy came up and stood next to this guy. This guy says I need one of those too. The bartender starts making him his drink. We were in line next and there was no RESPECT to customers that were in line waiting! We LEFT AND WILL NOT RETURN! I will let everyone else know how your staff operates!

Everyone who we have interacted with at the Bird Cage has been very friendly and especially accommodating to our dog. We have had several drinks and they've been very good. I like how they serve food as well and everything comes in a nice plastic dish or glass so you can take it to the pool. They also have nice outdoor seating with excellent views of the lake. Right now, they are cash only because they're waiting for the credit card machine. We were told that it won't always be cash only.

Staying at Hotel Canandaigua, assuming it's associated with the hotel, this place is CASH ONLY! In a world where most every place is card only, you cannot even charge it to your room! Snotty remarks when asked about charging to your room are not warranted either! Certainly not purchasing anything from here during my stay. Great set up on hotel property with views of the lake.
