Not the Villager, it is now Lincoln on Main. They offer farm to table dishes however the lunch selection was very limited.

Before the new owners the food was great and prices were no worse than anywhere else. Since the new ownership, in my opinion, the food isn't nearly as good, the menu is very limited, and the prices are higher. I haven't been back in quite a while and I used to be a regular.

This isn't the old Villager. Eggs were overcooked, toast needed more butter and the sausage was "English Style". They could do better.

Wow this was awful. Lived here for years, driven by here a hundred times decided to give them a shot. Service was clearly annoyed by us showing up, asked for well done potatoes and they were raw lol. I got like 2 half pieces of bacon and had to remind the waitress to bring my toast and the rest of the meal. All of this while there were 2 tables being served lol

Nice redecorating but food was overpriced...$10 for a piece (one slice) of burned toast and side of burned dried out potatoes. Added eggs for $3. Very disappointing. I guess they have to pay for redecorating...won't be back. It's not the same.

Recently changed everything. Went to Canandaigua with my mom and dad, i’ve been eating at the VILLAGER with my mother and father since i was a child: Recently rebranded to “Lincoln On Main” or collaborated with them, Had four options on the lunch menu, along with two salads. Only two staff working, and the food had absolutely no flavor or taste. I asked for a BLT because they had all the ingredients, it was extremely soft and mushy, no crunch to anything whatsoever. The “Kettle chips” i ordered? Horrible. An $18 burger my parents ordered(LHF Burger) lacked a very very large portion of ingredients, and also the fries were limited. The chips & Fries were soggy, cooked in what tasted like old oil, absolutely rancid. I felt greasy and disgusting on my way out. Absolutely horrid. Do NOT recommend to anyone who’s used to the well known, loving villager. Changed all of the interior design, looks like a sad beige baby’s bedroom. Has lost basically all color. Will not be coming back.

30 minutes wait for food & there was only one other table in the room. The borsin cheese on the inlet was just a cold smear over the eggs. The eggs in the omelet were not even mixed well. The fries were cold & oily… not good at all. So not go there…

I'd like to start off by saying that I understand renovations are still on going, and transitioning from one restaurant to the next is challenging and a long process.with this in mind, my partner and I still wanted to stop by for brunch today, as we have been to the Villager many times before and we have loved every experience. Unfortunately, our experience today was nothing like we have experienced here before, and left a LOT to be desired.

Firstly, this is no longer the Villager. This is Lincoln Hills Farm restaurant now. We felt incredibly deceived when we were seated, as ALL the signage outside the building indicated that this was still the Villager. The website for this restaurant still says Villager, and still has the old menu. Upon sitting, we were given completely new menus and none of our favorite options that we had expected, as this is now a completely different restaurant with a different menu and different dining experience. The advertising and website really need to be changed to reflect just how different of an experience this is now, for it is no longer the Villager.

Secondly, the food. As I mentioned, the menu was very different and limited compared to what was previously offered. I can very much appreciate using locally sourced ingredients and having a limited menu to ensure quality, but again this needs to be advertised as this is not what we were expecting. We had a hard time finding meals for brunch that appealed to us, despite this being advertised as "doing the classics, just better." Almost everything seemed uncoordinated as far as sides included with meals, and a lot of major breakfast items are now a la cart, making them much more expensive. My partner ended up getting the pancakes with a side of fingerling potatoes and I got the waffles with a side of sausage links. Starting on a high note, the sausage was fantastic! The pancakes had a bit of a sour aftertaste, and we assumed they were made with buttermilk or sour cream in the batter. They were ok, but certainly just average at best for diner pancakes. The waffles were a different story. They were so thin and full of holes, it didn't look like they used enough batter for either waffle. They were also so sour that I had to drown them in syrup to tolerate them, and I couldn't even finish the second waffle. Certainly not worth the 8$! Additionally, the potatoes were fine, but they were just plain white potatoes, and the portion was definitely not worth the price for what it was.

Thirdly, the service. Everyone was friendly and service was quick, which we greatly appreciated. However, the restaurant was not busy when we went, but we still felt extremely rushed. Our server was running from table to table and across the restaurant and seemed very overworked. They were unable to give any one table their full attention. We were given the check as our food was still coming out, and we found this kind of rude, as it felt like we were being pushed out and rushed. We don't feel that this was the server's fault, but a staffing issue that this new restaurant needs to fix.

All in all, we did not have a good experience. The only thing I can say is that brunch for two was cheap enough, but you definitely get what you pay for. This place is no longer the beloved Villager, but Lincoln Hills Farm and we most likely won't be back.

It is no longer the Villiger I was told. The menu was an eye opener of strange breakfast choices.not bad choices but no basic breakfast food. Our scrambled eggs looked like a taco, small amount of potatoes and a pile of spinach on the side. Toast was good. We ate our meal, paid and will not return. Good luck
