Although we were the only ones there, we waited a while just to get our drinks. Then the food. The was food pretty good, thankfully! The price wasn't terrible either. But the waiter/waitress and cooking times could use some improvements.
Menu is somewhat limited compared to what you're probably use to in an Mexican restaurant. No chicken tenders or chips and salsa (at least they weren't brought out)

I'd say maybe better as a order take ahead of time place but idk. I know I won't be trying them again for little bit.

I was really looking forward to getting lunch here. I rode my bike from Fayetteville to Canistota. The place seemed to be open. The doors were unlocked and the lights were on. I came inside. I waited and waited(10 minutes) at the counter, but nobody came even though the people in the kitchen could clearly see that I was there. They didn’t even come out to either say that they weren’t open yet, or that they would get to me in a minute. So I left without getting my meal. I can’t comment on the food quality, since I never got to order any.

Delicious authentic food! Willingly made substitutions without additional fee. Very tasty & the burrito was so large, I had to take 1/2 home! Pleasant & Fast service.

They do not serve chips and salsa like most places.
It would cost you $8.00 extra.
The Enchiladas did not come with rice and beans, $3.00 for a cup of rice $3.00 for a cup of beans.
$14.00 for a plate of nachos.
They tasted good but price was high.
The hot sauce was extremely hot, so be careful.
Service was good.

What a wonderful find in Canastota!. Friendly staff. Dining room was very clean and pretty. The food was amazing. Very fresh. Had a horchata for a drink and it was nothing short of a pure delight to drink. I would highly recommend this for a date or take the family. I cannot wait to go back.

Vegetarian options: They do offer quite a few vegetarian options

Kid-friendliness: Such a colorful place. The tables are easy to keep clean.

When I moved out here from California I was devastated to find no good Mexican food. Then La Bamba showed up in Canastota. I was overjoyed at the Amazing food they made. Never could of imagined that the food was outstanding. Reminded me of the restaurant's back home in California.

Amazing, the pozole was incredible, very authentic Mexican Pozole Rojo, even though it was poor of corn, radish, and onion. However, the marvelous natural “Chile del Arbol” reminded me of Mexican food.
