We hosted a retirement party here for my colleague Jason, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this experience.

In the week leading up to the event, I was extremely busy, and my mother coordinated directly with the manager — to the point where he even gave her his personal cellphone number so she could text with any questions. That level of accessibility and care alone spoke volumes.

On the day of the party, the staff had multiple tables set up perfectly to accommodate our group of over 30 people. Our waitress was an absolute rockstar — she handled separate drink tabs effortlessly, kept everything moving smoothly, and made sure no one was ever waiting too long. The food was delicious, and she stayed in constant communication with me throughout the event, checking in to see if we needed more food or anything else.

The manager was also present the entire time and made a point to personally check in with us, letting us know he was there for anything we needed. That hands-on approach made such a difference and truly elevated the entire experience.

Even after the party officially wrapped up, we stayed at the bar until closing, which says a lot about how comfortable and welcome we felt.

I would 100% recommend this location and this specific staff. They truly went above and beyond and helped make this retirement celebration an unforgettable experience.“

“I had a great experience at this spot! I ordered the chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely on point. The chicken was well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and served hot and fresh. “AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“Ordered takeout from Don Chicken on Northern Blvd and went for the Spicy Soy Garlic Chicken and it did not disappoint. The pieces were pretty big, juicy inside, and had that trademark Korean fried chicken crunch: thin, shatter-crispy, never greasy. The soy garlic glaze was spot on savory, garlicky, with just enough kick to keep me reaching for another bite.

I also tried the Sweet & Spicy flavor not bad at all, just leaned sweeter than what I usually like.

What I really appreciate is how Korean fried chicken is different from the fried chicken most of us grew up with. Instead of a thick, heavy batter, it’s double-fried a method that actually came about in Korea in the 1960s and 70s when fried chicken started getting popular alongside beer (“chimaek,” short for chicken + maekju/beer, is now a whole culture). That double fry gives you the crunch without the grease, and the sauces like this soy garlic add layered flavor instead of just salt and breading.

For takeout, it traveled well too the chicken stayed crisp even by the time I got home, which tells you they’re doing it right. Generous portions, bold flavor, and that authentic K-fried crispness make the spicy soy garlic the clear winner for me.“

Ryan, one of the workers, made the visit even better. He was friendly, professional, and made sure my order was correct before I left. You can tell he actually cares about the customers and the service.

“I had a great experience with the chicken wings. Each wing was perfectly crisp and flavorful. I chose the level 2 spice sauce, which had just the right amount of heat without overpowering the taste.

By the time I finished the last wing, I was full and completely satisfied. The price was more than fair for the quality and portion size. The only minor downside was the Cajun fries. They were cooked well, but the seasoning lacked the punch and depth I was hoping for. A bit more boldness in flavor could have made them match the wings’ power.“

“We ordered assorted gyros, souvlaki, tacos and baklava. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. Over all decent and accommodating to the greek culture with a twist of spanish. Only thing I would change is to add oragano salt and pepper to the gyros and don't blend the tzatziki makes it a bit pasty in texture but flavor was 7/10. The baklava less refrigerated time and more syrup not leaving the tops so dry. Would visit again.“

“Excellent chicken and rice spot in Bethpage.
I've been to a large number of spots for chicken and rice, from the halal guys on 53rd and 6th, to the numerous spots along Steinway street in astoria, shahs, And other halal spots along the island and around hillside avenue and it's great to have an excellent local place close by to satisfy by desire for mix over rice.

Every spot has its own take on the chicken and halal eatz does a great job with whatever the seasoning is. White sauce is on point and hot sauce is HOT as expected. They have a number of other items I've never tried but am looking forward to tasting.

I saw they have byob (Bag of chips - not beer obviously) which is something that's become popular on social media, and I think it's a great idea for a solid price.

Overall great food that never disappoints that honeslty I'd say is the best bang for the buck in the area and a refreshing alternative to have around to eat. I'd post a picture but the ones that are already shared do it justice enough. If you opt for a platter, while I normally do pita, their fries are great.

“I live in Wantagh and have been to Dang many, many times. The food is great, the service is fantaststic and I would rate you a 10 out of 10 but for one thing...the MUSIC is horrible! It is the same songs by the same artist every time we attend and it is about 50% too loud as well. I like country music and it is appropriate but please, get some decent country music that has some classics and recognizable artists. Today, we had a great lunch and our waitress, Kaitlin, was wonderful. But we skipped desert because we just could not take any more of the terrible music. I know others who share my opinion. “This is my go to spot when I’m craving fried chicken and ribs.

The chicken n rib combo never disappoints when it’s freshly made. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the ribs are saucy and tender, and the cornbread is one of my favorite parts of the meal (soft, slightly sweet, and freshly made).

Whether you order inside or through the drive-thru, the customer service has always been friendly and welcoming. They move pretty quickly too, which I appreciate.

So I had a crazy few days lol. I went to the Nelly/Ja Rule/Eve concert, the next day I worked and drove my son and I out to WildWood, NJ to participate in a short part of my boyfriend's annual family vacation, Tuesday night I left Wildwood at 10 PM because I had a notary class Wednesday. After the concert my friend Jen told me she was going to be here with her other friends. So I went to meet them because I didn't get to see them during the concert. Jen is so amazing she's very generous with me even though she doesn't have to be, so she paid for my burger that I ordered here because I didn't eat dinner and when I got to Boss Crocker's I was hungry. I gave the bartender a $20 tip because if someone pays for my meal I like to pay it forward and give the waitstaff or bartender a banger tip.

The bacon cheeseburger was very good. They made it very fast, I don't know if it was the hunger but I loved it. They made it medium rare at my request and it was one of the best burgers I ever scarfed down.

The bar was a pretty good environment, it was a pretty chill crowd for a Sunday night, more packed than I thought it would be. I can't say much about the drinks I only drank water but give Boss Crocker's a chance!“
