“This place is a little diamond. Went for the first time last night and WOW. It took me back to Italy. They don't use the artificial flavors you'll find at all the local icecream shops. It's REALLY pistachio and hazelnut and chocolate. The flavors were absolutely incredible and smooth. Not too sweet. Just perfect across the board. No little bits of ice like you get at other spots where the ice cream has been sitting. It was all fresh. And the owner was a lovely Italian woman who was so happy to share her treats with us. They were very kind and patient as we struggled to pick a flavor (because they all were AMAZING). They also have an assortment of tarts and the icecream cakes that looks like the best ice cream cake you'll ever have. They are absolutely beautiful! We started we baked clams and needed to ask for more bread to soak up all that delicious sauce. We both decided on pasta for dinner and both were great choices. I went with pasta rollo which was rolled up fresh lasagna. After seeing similar dishes online I always wanted to try it glad they had it and it was delicious. “Very much a hidden gem. The place is cozy with a warm atmosphere and very cool. There are the big beer tanks visible right in the space. There are so many interesting beer and drink choices and a small menu with a few items like a bar pizza and empanadas. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There are just 4 bar seats and that's it. 2. Beverage options limited. Coke, sprite, water. 3. The service is amazingly friendly and personable. The folk working here are pretty nice. Portion sizes are either lunch or dinner size for your platters. Even the lunch size is a good size portion enough for one person. The dinner size is enough for two people. When we ordered the lunch size for gyro, we had a choice of either a salad or a soup for the first side which is separate from the gyro and there is a second side that goes along with the gyro, so you can pick one of the following fries, rice, lemon potatoes or grilled vegetables. The container is filled about 80% full with grilled pita.When we ordered the dinner size for gyro, its the same as lunch but you can pick two of the sides that go along the gyro. This is effectively filling your container all the way to the top at 100% filled with grilled pita. Recently it appears they increased this to up to three sides, but I imagine they will just reduce the portion size of each side if you pick three but would still fill the container full.The Greek salad is good and the soups we tried were also good. The gyros and chicken souvlaki were on point.“

The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! “I don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled to write one now. Tonight we threw a surprise birthday party for a family member here. The entire experience was amazing.The owner is super accommodating, even letting me switch the date or the event last minute and change the number of people. They gave us ample space to set up food, desserts, and have more than enough seating for our guests.The bartender was awesome, friendly, and very helpful. He even came to sweep our area before our event started after we dropped some decorations on the floor.There was a live band that everyone enjoyed, from the younger guests to the older guests. The games also kept the kids entertained.This place was exactly what we were looking for and it was perfect for everyone who attended, from the 4 year old up to the 78 year old. This is perfect for events and families!“

The only issue is that it is so big you can get lost. There are maps all over the mall, but if you can't read them, bring someone with you who can. There used to be paper maps as well that you could take with you around the mall, but they stopped making them. You can get a digital version on your phone, though.“

But I decided to take the risk and bring him on a mini date because there's only so many visits this mommy can take to Chik-fil-A and it turned out great. He was on his good behavior and tried the mushroom risotto, which I told him was cheesy rice with my short rib and he has a cheese burger and fries. They did forget to put cheese on his burger which he was quick to point out but that was a quick fix, the staff was quick to melt a slice of cheese on his burger and brought it back out quick. My only semi-compliant was a side was small sweet potato smash was $12 which was the same cost of his burger and fries. Otherwise, everything was great, staff was attentive and we had a fun time.
