“This is the cleanest, tastiest, friendliest, deli in Carmel. We go there roughly every 2 weeks and we always make a point of stopping at Carmel Bagel. A little gem that most people miss is their pineapple cream cheese spread. Omg I'm in heaven every time I get it. Don't deny till you try it lol

“It always a pleasure visiting JV Hot Bagels. The menu are impressive, with a variety of mouth-watering options that are bursting with flavor. The service is impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who make my wife and I feel like VIPs. The owner even remembers are names.To top it off, we were surprised with complimentary meals from time to time. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable experience. “Had a birthday cake done for my daughter’s birthday and Luigi (baker) made it to Perfection. Red Velvet cake. Delicious and gorgeous looking cake. He also made me chocolate covered strawberries and never tasted such delicious chocolate before. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.“

“From the minute I stepped in, I was already greeted and asked if I needed help. I was not sure what I wanted at first, when I asked them to give me a minute, they made sure I was aware they would wait and they are available whenever I am ready. After looking at the breakfast sandwiches, I eventually decided to go for the Cobra Kai (BEC, Chicken Cutlet and Hash brown). It was beyond amazing, I asked for SPK and they put on just the right amount, the eggs were not dry or anything. I also accompanied it with an iced coffee, their cubes are made out of coffee! They handed me the cup and explained to me that there are many flavors and I can make them to my liking. Which I rather do myself than have anyone not do it to my liking. All in all, good experience would definitely recommend“

“This is my favorite location, thank goodness I didn’t read recent reviews first! The food is always fresh and delicious — I’m vegan and it’s so refreshing to have so many options! They have an App which takes out waiting time during lunch rush. Everyone has always been kind, even when they are super busy. Clean atmosphere, can’t believe I hadn’t found this place earlier!“

“This area is seriously lacking in vegan options, so this deli is our go-to. We often get bagels with vegan cream cheese for breakfast or the vegan sandwiches for lunch. They're not the best I've ever had, but they're certainly not bad! The portobello burger or the Philly Cheese steak are my defaults. They also have great juices -- and alt milks for lattes. (Don't order the matcha though, it just tastes like whatever milk base is used without even a hint of matcha flavor).“
