Really good food - and reasonably priced - in Chatham. Perfect before an evening at the Mac-Haydn! We had chicken, seafood, and pasta dishes. All were rock solid. Ambience is clean and simple, nothing too charming.

I live in NYC and this pizza is better than any pizza parlor in my neighborhood. I literally get excited when I know we are gonna get a pepperoni mushroom pie from this place …. Highly recommend.

Food-wise this, is a superb Italian restaurant, in the top 1% of those where I've eaten. I can't comment on service because we arrived from Mac-Hadyn Theatre at 4:00 pm and there was no one else there. But our server was bright, cheery & well aware of all menu items. Atmosphere was plain although sidewalk seating might be a good option in the right weather.

I grew up going to the original Lagonia‘s location. When we were kids we called it mussel’s for sale because my baby brother would don a bib made from his napkin and serve our table from the big bowl of mussels. Although some of the same dishes are a little smaller and most definitely the location is, they still serve great food (and mussels!)

The food is incredible (get the pasta with vodka sauce) the staff is so nice and it’s just a great place to be.
Finding a place to stop on our way up to VT is always hard but we were so happy when we came across this place. The penne vodka and pizza were amazing (penne vodka was some of the best I've ever had)! We were happy to find a place with a veggie burger as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive and food service was quick. Will definitely eat here again if we pass through.
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian appetizers, salads and pasta dishes. Penne vodka was meat free

This is a disaster. The pizza is barely edible. I can barely talk about the service... we were the only table in the place and could not get our server. When I eventually had to find her she was chopping veggies while the kitchen staff looked on. Then out of the blue the owners showed up and one of them was flossing his teeth behind the bar. It was absolutely revolting.

My family stopped on the way back to NYC from the Adirondacks. My daughter has food allergies so we dread the stop but need to do it for the family. We found Lagonias by chance and found that they don’t use peanuts, tree nuts or sesame. Importantly the food was delicious. NY style pizza, wraps, and a lot more. The buffalo wings were cooked perfect with crispy skin, and the wrap was large with a side of great hand cut fries. Full bar and entrees were available too.
Dietary restrictions: Allergen friendly
Kid-friendliness: I have four kids and one was out of control from the a very long car ride. They didn’t kick us and we took him for a quick walk for the benefit of other diners.

I was very surprised how excellent their Italian meals tasted. I expected an average meal,average taste,just average…. To my surprise entrees and appetizers were excellent and portions were generous!!!!! We have calamari, mac & cheese, shrimp, scampi, fettuccine Alfredo,even grilled salmon!!!!! The ONLY thing I could criticize would be the soda was on the flat side…. But you forget about that because they great you with a PRE CHILLED glass bottle with the old school ceramic clamp down cork…nice touch….!!!!!!
