This was an awesome place! Such a great find. The food servings are great size, and the price was excellent! The owners were on hand and take pride in their food and their restaurant.
When we arrived we were the only ones there but soon a few more parties came in. There was one waitress on duty and she was absolutely amazing. She was attentive to our needs, and answered all our questions.The owner even came out to make sure everything was good and we had to say it was exceptional! With all of the closing of businesses in the area, the Thirsty Moose is worth the drive to Childwold

We are local and this is our go to restaurant/bar. The owners are kind and welcoming and the wait staff is stellar. The food is always delicious and one time I ordered something I ended up not liking and they brought me a free burger -- there was NOTHING wrong with the food, just not to my taste.
