“BAR BILL NORTH WING REVIEW
Presentation - 4.8 - Well structured and stacked, separating drums from flats was a nice touch. Sauce was contained to wings, no seepage on basket liner.
FLAVOR PROFILE - 4.0 - after consultation with the wait staff, opted for Medium, good spice but the sting is lingering for 20+ mins, not ideal. Wings are brushed with sauce (not tossed). Therefore, uneven spread of sauce around entire wing.
PRODUCT - 4.0 - Small wings. However, proportionally sized drum to flat ratio. Cleanly cut meat. Would like to see more size.
PREPARATION - 3.8 - This is where personal preference dominates the review. Due to the smaller size wing and goal to get a crisp wing, the juiciness of the meat takes second fiddle. The meat should take center stage.
Separation bone to meat was solid in the first two wings, fell apart after, looked like a hot mess after a quick pull.
ACCOMPANIMENTS - 3.0 - Celery only, no carrots. Celery stalks were uneven and slightly rough around the edges, probably cut mid-afternoon day before.
OVERALL - 3.92“

“First time - I was a walk in and take out order. But just the few moments I was inside the atmosphere seems friendly clean and inviting. I will come back another time to sit and eat. I came because my son Loves the Buffalo wing soup.
Parking: I found parking around the back, you have to turn down the side street to get to it. But they have a large parking lot in back and a few on the side
Wheelchair accessibility: Looks like they have a ramp entrance around the back were I parked but I’m not sure.“

“I moved away from Buffalo about 35 years ago, so I only remembered Duff's and Anchor Bar wings. I brought the family up for vacation. We went to Elmo's with my niece and her fiancé based on his recommendation. These were the best wings I have ever had. We tried 4 different flavors and they were all excellent. The crisp on these wings was perfect and can't be attained with a frozen wing. Everything here was top tier.
Kid-friendliness: The kids chicken dinner meal was huge. They dipped then grilled the chicken which made it more crispy and flavorful. My kids all loved them.“

“Sals is definitely an underrated hidden gem. My husband and I have been coming here for years for the honey Cajun wings, I’ll get legitimate cravings for specifically the honey Cajun lol full disclosure the seating isn’t the most comfortable but they definitely make up for it with the food and service“

“Never had your pizza until yesterday at work someone ordered I work at elderwood Williamsville nursing home I really enjoyed it the lil spice in the pepperoni usually get Mattinas because I’m in the Kenmore area and they also season their pizza but def when in a area your located will order very good pizza!“

“Went to the new location on union road in West Seneca. Pizza and wings were Delicious. Wings were nice and crispy on the outside and sauced well. The pizza is different, with the sweet sauce, and we really enjoyed it! We will definitely be back.“

“Businesses have to realize they need us we don't need them without us their doors will be closed so whoever owns the places need to shave up to help because it's only going to hurt the owners in the end don't be rude if people aren't rude with you now you get real with me now we got a problem I don't like to show that side of me I'm a very nice polite person and that's what I expect when I come to your establishment so shape up your help otherwise one day your doors might be closed like I said we don't need you you just need us thank you“

“Definitely recommend!! Just had the best hot wings I’ve had in YEARS! Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up! Seriously, your cooks absolutely rocked our socks off tonight. The wings were spicy with a nice after burn and they expertly walked the line between well-sauced but not slimy. The pizza was great too, as well a couple subs we ordered. Pizza works also has great chicken fingers, fries and onion rings. They have been very reliably great the past year or so with fast service“

“I have ordered from this location multiple times and every time I am greeted immediately, I have yet to meet an employee there who isn’t very pleasant to interact with. My food is always hot and ready when they say it will be and it is always delicious.“

“This is THE MOST underrated spot in Buffalo. Everything is good. Cheese pizza? Fantastic. Chicken fingers? Bussin'. Wings? On point. Prices are as low as you'll see in the area. And their menu has so many deals and ways to save. 10/10 pizzeria. I wish I lived closer it would be my go-to for every single event“

“Their food is good but customer service is lacking. In 7 months they have screwed up my order 3 different times. I order about once a month. I feel like I should have been compensated a little better for my inconvenience if they want return business. Not looking for a freebie. Carbone's in Alden does a much better job overall. Good food too.“

“One of the more iconic pizzas in Buffalo has made it out to the Eastern sticks. Easy to order online, I just had to wait a few minutes for my food order because I got there a few minutes early. On the pricier side for WNY, but you get what you pay for and then some.“
