“Located in a strip plaza off Millersport Highway, Elmo's has been a reliable spot for lunch or dinner for at least 40 years that I can remember. They are as good today as they were in the 1980's, they remained open during Covid, and the quality has remained solid. Whereas chicken wings at most other establishments have been getting smaller in recent years, Elmo's continues to serve large, plump wings cooked exactly as you like them. In my case, I like them extra crispy with medium sauce. Their chili as they prepare and serve it is mild, but they will bring hot sauce to your table so you can make it as aggressive as you'd like. Their burgers are a decent size, they cook it exactly as you order it, and they are generous with the lettuce tomatoes and onions. For a dollar upgrade you can get onion rings instead of fries on the side and the onion rings are quite good. They don't have a huge selection of beers, but the beer they do carry is served, icy cold, in appropriate glasses, and their inventory turns over quickly, so you know you're getting fresh product. The bartenders mix a decent drink, not overflowing with ice. The restrooms are more than adequate. They have a dartboard for the patrons to use and very attentive waitresses and bus staff. They charge slightly less if you pay in cash. I have never been disappointed at Elmo's.“

There were many selections from the menu, I ordered chicken fingers and my husband ordered the White pizza both were very good. “Yesterday while at work I was craving some Rasta pasta which happens to be one of my favorite dishes. I normally get it from another place but I haven't been able to in awhile. I went on Uber eats to see who else offered it and @eleven wings and cruisines was the first choice. I've had their food before which was great so I took the chance on ordering their Rasta pasta. The food arrived nice and hot still, even after my driver had another delivery before me. I could smell it through the bag it smelt so good. The food was amazing. I have yet to find my favorite wing spot in Charlotte, NC. I am still exploring. Duff's and At Eleven have raised the bar on deliciousness. They never disappoint me and have high standards. It wasn't a thick fluffy pan pizza Detroit style crust but it did taste very good. My partner got regular pizza and he loved it. “What an experience. I made reservations on Thursday at 11 am for a Friday night at 6pm. We arrived at 5:55pm. We were greeted by a woman named Nancy. The reservations were at 6 for Jamison but all they had was Jamie & Vanessa so she figured someone wrote it wrong and sat us. She was fantastic. We were sat by a party of about 15 adults and their 7 kids were sitting at a table behind them. The kids were insanely loud, spilling pop, not staying seated and the parents had no care in the world. You could tell staff was doing their best but also getting a tad aggravated just like those sitting around the oblivious parent table. We knew service would be slow because the restaurant was packed but, our waitress was very attentive and always coming to check on us. Nancy the hostess kept popping over as well offering to move us but we declined. One of the waitresses went over and told the kids they need to stay seated. My first time was a major letdown, I did the Double Dip with Cajun and Honey Mustard, the wings were so overcooked that all I tasted was other leftover food from the char marks. I wanted to give them another try because I always feel like these types of bars have mediocre food during the days and then they step up at night when the rush comes in so I went in again on a wknd night and ordered the Cajun-Medium Double Dipped. Once again, I ran into 3-4 of the wings extremely overcooked but the other ones were 100% spot-on, flavor was killer and the chicken was on point. Only if I could get a full order of decently cooked wings then my review would be higher. Also docking a bit of a point because I was told their top shelf whiskey was Seagrams 7... I mean, I get its a local bar but really?Positives were that the bartenders were all super friendly and were flying around the bar. There was a large wait for bigger groups to get tables but that is expected on a Friday night in a smaller location like this. Parking lot was a zoo with people trying to find spots. Ample televisions on to watch the game and overall seems like a fun local spot.All in all, Id recommend stopping in if you are in the area. Its a good group of people but the Wings just haven't left their mark on me (yet). Im hoping that changes though.Overall 3.5/5“
