Gabriel's Gate Reviews
Great food. Philly was so flavorful and super hearty. Cool atmosphere with original fireplace, Indian sculptures. Just feels good! Negatives: generic beer and wine menu. No local options. Why? Also the 'host' who sat us was just rude/surly. No reason for that??
Grew up in Batavia and didn't make it to Buffalo very often when I was living there. Asked a group of friends where to go while visiting Buffalo for chicken wings and Gabriel's gate came up as a top choice. So while we were doing some tourist things in the area, had a late lunch at Gabriel's gate. Thought the wings were excellent and we also ordered a Philly cheese steak to share and that was also very good. If I'm back in the area, I would stop there again. Incredible wings, indulgent sandwiches and cold beer. The tables in the front are part of the heritage building but they aren't to comfortable - still worth it to try the food!

Gabriel's Gate is an old-timey and rustic restaurant with a great atmosphere. The buffalo wings are crispy, juicy, tangy, and perfect, a must-try, and many customers say they are the best wings they have ever eaten. The wings are large and delicious, with a good selection of craft brews. The sauce is nice and tasty, and the medium spiciness level is just right. The food is prepared to order, so it takes some time, but the service is generally good. The restaurant offers a variety of American traditional dishes, from sandwiches to full dinners, and the bar is a great spot to relax. The atmosphere is historic and cozy, ideal for enjoying your meal with friends. The menu also includes cheese sticks and soup, which are well-liked. The restaurant is located on Allen St., convenient to bus routes and the Metro Rail station. However, accessibility can be challenging due to some steps and doors, but there might be a rear entrance through the patio. Overall, Gabriel's Gate is a favorite for wings and traditional American dishes, with friendly staff and a welcoming vibe.
