We finally made it out to Hayes Seafood House after missing their Harlem location in Snyder for many years. What a wonderful experience we had! The menu truly offers something for everyone with quite a few options for sides as well. Our meals were served impressively fast by very attentive and friendly staff. The various fish dishes were very nicely prepared and perfectly cooked. Special shout-out to Rick, who gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the menu. He is an ideal person for his role given his kind and helpful nature. Thanks Rick!
Our only suggestions? The musical selections were distracting and too loud... we felt like we were talking over the music, which is never enjoyable. The songs themselves lent nothing to the ambience and actually detracted from it. Also, the menu boards at the ordering counter are unnecessarily confusing and repetitive. Rick helped us get the lay of the land, but without his assistance, it would have been rather confusing.
Overall, 5 stars for sure - we will be back!

This was an excellent counter service seafood experience with a fish counter attached. The place is spotless and the service is courteous. We enjoyed the Bang Bang shrimp and a haddock dinner with fries and slaw. Just great.

Had the New England clam chowder and broiled haddock, both were fabulous. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend having dinner here. You won't be sorry.

This place was so amazing my husband and I had a lot of fun while we were there as the atmosphere is so bright, cheerful and nice! The staff were all very friendly and checked in on us multiple times even thanking us for being there! We were craving lobster and looked at multiple places this definitely had the best deals and had such great food we were thoroughly impressed! It felt like we were in Cape Cod! We have vacationed there recently and this place reminded us of it! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We made reservations on line for 7 when we got there, we were told no reservations but one waitress was wonderful and got a table took our order. We are new to this area and it was wonderful. They made a bad experience into a wonderful experience. Food wonderful and we will be back. GREAT place

Great place if you're looking for fresh fish. Love the fried Haddock fish fry or fish sandwich. I've also had their 3 Ahi ahi fresh tuna spicy tacos. Too much for me, but brought the leftover home for dinner. They also serve wine for your meal if you might want it. Nice enclosed patio to eat at tables, also have take out orders as well. Reservations not required, but if going with 6 people or may, I suggest calling ahead.

The most attentive and polite staff of ANY restaurant I’ve been to anywhere in WNY. The food is beyond compare and definitely the freshest seafood. Lots of wheelchair seating throughout the dining rooms. Coming back with my family. Highly recommend!
