Very nice people and very accommodating! The wine is good and the slushies are great. Only downside is some of the locals on the island make it difficult to dock at the town docks!
This was a fun little stop while visiting the river.
Boated to Grindstone yesterday with family for my fist visit to the winery. They offered to pick us up at the public dock and we spent a fantastic afternoon sampling wine and just enjoying the beautiful atmosphere and weather. Every person we met was friendly and warm. We ended up having to make room in the boat for a couple cases of our favorites. Thank you to the staff for such a special day.

Grindstone Island Winery is a charming gathering place on the island, offering a welcoming atmosphere with a great communal feel and games for all ages. Their port is also well done, providing a nice variety for visitors. The staff, including the owner, makes guests feel at home, offering tours of the wine cave and sharing stories about the island and winery. The winery’s wine, including the Prairie Star Moscato, is juicy and flavorful, perfect for hot summer days. Visitors also enjoy their refreshing slushies. The winery is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant environment for all.
