Dolce And Biscotti Fine Italian Bakery

The frosting on the fudge fancy was really hard, but the PB Fudge cookie was amazing. Everything else was good.

If you haven't found this amazing gem of an Italian bakery, what are you waiting for. They make amazing cakes and always have cakes to grab, no special order required, but that limits you to options. They male an amazing banana cake with peanut butter frosting. It seriously is heaven on earth! Their cinnamon rolls are delicious. Everything I have ever had from there is great!

I recently moved here from Downstate. I was looking for Italian bread like I used to get at home. The grocery stores here have no idea what Italian bread is and don't know you don't slice it. I went in to this place one day after shopping at Wit's End. To say I was not impressed. I thought the prices for small cookies (nothing special) was outrageous. And while I did buy Italian Bread , it was a bit on the high side for what I got. Sorry but it didn't taste like the Italian Bread I am used to from Arthur Ave. and the grocery stores downstate.

Their pastries are so good and the staff are always very helpful.

Great pastries

2 1/2 stars. The first cake I purchased here was absolutely amazing. The chocolate cake was favorable and moist, and the raspberry filling was thick and went to the edges of the icing coat. They made it the color I asked for even though it was a whipped icing. It was phenomenal. I could not wait to get another one for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, this cake was almost the complete opposite. Suddenly, they could no longer add coloring to whipped icing. The raspberry filling layer was cut in half and ended about a quarter of an inch from the icing layer, which they then filled with buttercreme instead of whipped icing. We are a sugar sensitive house that can not eat buttercreme, which was explained, but we still ended up with it. Unfortunately, the whipped icing was also a lot sweeter this time as well, although I'm not sure if it may be due to the lack of raspberry filling to help off set it or if the mixture was just a little off this time. The chocolate cake itself was still good. They also have sizing issues with boxes; they did not have a box big enough for the first cake, and I was concerned that something could easily get on it with the lid being open to accommodate it. Overall, the first experience was great, but the second was disappointing, and therefore, I gave them 2 1/2, cutting the difference between the two experiences.

Sorry to say my two Easter pies were not that good at all. Our homemade pies are way better, we just didn’t have enough time to make them.

Dolce and Biscotti made our delicious wedding cake and desserts for our wedding day! The cake was absolutely delicious. We had no cake left over after our wedding and we chose a cake the fed more than our guest count- that goes to show how amazing the cake was! We also had no desserts (pastries and cookies) left over! Our guests raved about how incredible the desserts and cake were. We are looking forward to enjoying our 1 year anniversary cake!

This place is way expensive, you would have to be rich to buy anything from there

We used Dolce and Biscotti for our wedding this past September. Everything was amazing!! I’ve never heard so many people rave about a wedding cake before. Matt and the team were so helpful and great to work with. We ended up getting a small wedding cake and a Viennese table which was more than enough desserts. We highly recommend them!!

Purchased several Italian Genette cookies of different flavors. Terrible and very dissapointed. Hard as rocks and no flavor. The icing was crunchy hard and fell off. Maybe old. Had these before and they were great. So sad this bakery has changed. Biscotti cookies were very nice. So sorry and dissapointed. Sad...

Super disappointed with the overall quality. Dry, bland & not the best decorated. I was told that this place was the best in the 518. Forget about it! Give me a bakery from Italian bakery from NYC or Jersey any day of the week. 12 cookies for $39.00? Never again. Ciao for now. 🇮🇹

UPDATE: This bakery clearly has ZERO concern for unhappy customers. Most places make contact and attempt to resolve the issue. I noticed this is the case with all complaints. TERRIBLE and SHAMEFUL!

We ordered a Birthday Cake. Let's just say it was 70% icing and 30% cake. Almost impossible to eat since each bite was just big mouthful of icing. We have previously been happy, but this $60 cake was a disappointment!
