First time in 40 years I've ever received Chinese take out and it didn't include any kind of rice at all with two dinner entrees and no crispy wonton s with two soup orders. We just assumed both with be included or we would be asked if we wanted them for an upcharge. Drove 2 hours up the northway home to be dissapointed when we opened up our take out. :(

This is the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. Of course, they have a good amount of American style Chinese dishes that are really tasty but that is not what you should be here for. This is a much more traditional restaurant. Ask for a recommendation or try something outside of your normal comfort zone. Every time I try something new I love it. Also, come with a group and share your food with each other. Every time I do this, I discover new dishes I didn't know about. Try the Pork Belly. Order some Soup Dumplings. Try the Spicy Chicken or the Cumin Lamb. You're bound to find something that suits your tastes or even something you didn't know you liked. Anyway, one of the best things about this place is that the flavors are really fresh and aromatic. Even the side of lo mein I got with my entree was very garlicky and I was still craving it well after I had finished it. I often have dreams about this place. I wish that all restaurants left me this satisfied.

Eddy’s food is unmistakably a separate entity from your usual Chinese take-out place and we’ve been steady, loyal customers for years. His food is always extremely fresh, superbly prepared, and a delicious, culinary delight! Although the atmosphere is a bit lacking (an easy fix with the right touch!), the service is always lovely, with Eddy, himself, waiting on tables most days. The menu selection is varied and there are many familiar dishes along with a vast selection of traditional Chinese dishes. The Shanghai Crabmeat Soup Dumplings are to die for, the Hot and Sour Soup is just the right blend of flavors, and you can never go wrong with the Sauteed Green Beans, Singapore Rice Noodles, or Beef in Garlic Ginger Sauce which are just a few of our favorites! The vegetarian options are numerous as well and Eddy is always accommodating with special requests. We believe Eddy’s is far superior to Ala Shanghai in Latham which we used to frequent before we discovered Eddy’s several years ago. A rare gem, for sure!!

So many “Chinese” restaurants on Google maps while visiting this area. I used reviews to direct me. I didn’t expect such an authentic Chinese culinary experience. Thank you reviewers as this was the BEST Chinese food I have had since visiting China. NOT the standard. It is fresh and amazing!

We have been searching for good Chinese food since we moved here 4 years ago. I wish we had started here, it would have ended our searching. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor! The service was great. We will definitely be back.

Great food! First time ordering and I ordered online. Did not think the entrees of Mapo Doufu and Shrimp with Broccoli would not include rice with the price. Saw it had it in a combo meal, but would expect it to be with the own entree itself. Combo meal tends to include other things as this usually means including spring rolls or dumplings and not just rice.
