The Klam'r Tavern and Marina

Thinks the boat launch parking lot is their overflow lot. Sorry, but no. I'll never eat here as a result of the sheer disrespect for people trying to launch, which is what that parking lot is for.

food was great. atmosphere was great and i enjoyed everything. the service was average though. our server, emma was very short and neglectful as i saw her sitting on her phone in front of us the whole time. it seemed the tables around me got great service. I saw her and another blonde haired server, with a sleeve of tattoos down her arms, complaining multiple times about being at work and wanting to leave. I understand the service industry but it seemed very unprofessional as i saw other tables being treated much better. Overall good establishment, just needs to tighten up the ship a bit.

Great food, Clare is right on top of things, are great bartender!

The Tavern has been in business a long time. Used to be called The Clam Steam Tavern. Was and maybe still is, a popular country music venue. My dad was a country and western singer and played there a lot in the 50's. Maybe even in the late 40's. A nostalgic band stand and dance floor is still there and looks like it is in use. The food is standard bar food but very good. I do not eat seafood however my wife does and really likes the clams. Enjoy eating on the outside porch. Will be back this summer.

We had such a great time here The food was great and Francesca was just lovely and she really wanted you to have a great experience from beginning to end! Big shrimp cocktail, buffalo quesadillas, bacon burger w/fries, turkey & bacon salad,....ALL great! Will be back soon!! Thank you, Francesca!!

After a long bike ride, discovered this great restaurant, a hidden gem. Real American diner, where we enjoyed the fried onion rings, hamburger and clams.

Parking: Enough parking space for cars, motorcycles and cyclists

This place Rocks!
Update: it still rocks! I met my cousin and her family here last night for dinner. Our parents are buried in the Visher’s Ferry cemetery and we come up once a year to look after the graves and walk through the town. The Klam’r and it’s many previous iterations bring nothing but happy memories for our family. It’s a great place. It’s a sports bar and I guess it’s a marina, but definitely the best place to eat in the area and the people are friendly prices are very reasonable portions are large.

Parking: Parking is not a problem here they have spaces out front and then a lot on the side and I guess if you had to, you could probably park on the street as well.

Kid-friendliness: If the kids get bored, there is plenty of stuff to do outside: they can walk down to the water and skip stones,run around in the nearby woods, etc.

Won’t bother with food pics that are plentiful in the reviews. Though I will share some landscapes from out front which are fantastic. Located on the banks of the Mohawk River do yourself a favor and show around sundown and enjoy the beauty. Food is much better than you think and the service is excellent.
