When I was a child my father would take the family to his company's Clam Steam outing at Krause's on the Mohawk River. We did that for many years. Then as adults, my wife and I would occasionally dine at Krause's restaurant which had been added to their outdoor pavilion complex. I was very disappointed. It was 90 in the shade. No big fans or anything to help us stay cool.The side dishes were awful. Though the baked Beans tasted like store brand canned.The burgers and ribs were yummy, But I would not go again.Parking: Handicap parking was 200+yards to the gazebo and no other way to get closerWheelchair accessibility: There is no way that a person in a wheelchair would be able to use the bathroom or sit in the shade at a table

This is the second year in a row we went the last day of the year by chance. They have a craft fair and there's music and burgers! You can even get a cold beer. I don't know why I don't remember to come here during the summer when it's open. It's a nice relaxing place to hang outside under a pavilion or walking around in the sunshine.
