Hot food section is awesome, breakfast is unparalleled and lunch is memorable. Ive eaten everywhere in Long Island and at every deli in NYC and nothing comes close. Give it a try. “The Blue Sky Deli is not called "Chopped Cheese Delicious" but the food and the staff have not changed. I wanted to have one of their Chopped Cheese sandwiches for dinner and it did not disappoint. The sandwich is now $8.00 so it is not as cheap as it was before. Still the sandwich, which is basically a chopped up double cheeseburger with spices on a hero roll that is pressed, is still excellent. It is a great sandwich and really filling. The sandwich really is delicious.“

Food is good and they wrap , label nicely. They close early as most deli's do ..... why not provide delivery of DINNER at the end of the day? They do get very busy at times of the day so expect to wait for a few if it is. They sell hot food and soups and other things such as tuna,crab salad, egg salad and things. “I love the tacos and chicken soup. Sometimes, they don't have chicken, which is a hundred percent what I want, I'll take the beef. It's in the neighborhood of wyandanch, which is 80% minority. However, when I walk in, I feel so uncomfortable they do not give you a warm welcome. The attitude is like why you're in here. I just started noticing they do not wear gloves, and my stomach is very sensitive, so when they bring gloves back, I'll be back. It gross that they touch the food with their bare hands. Other than that, the soup is rich, and the taco meat is soft.
