BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Thanks so much to Lexi who made me feel very welcome!

The hostess was friendly and quickly found us a larger table when we arrived with an extra guest. Our server was friendly, efficient, and helpful when a menu item was unavailable, creating a great second choice. Overall, we enjoyed delicious food in a nice atmosphere.

We came to the restaurant with a very large party and they were very accommodating getting us all seated and served at the right time. The staff was amazing. We really enjoyed our experience.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is an excellent place to have great food and drinks. The service is exceptional especially Lexi. She is the best very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Great little brew pub-- parking was easy and safe, ambiance was fun and lively. We enjoyed the food; felt it was a little pricey but the portions were generous. Soup and mozzarella sticks were especially delicious! Our waitress was an absolute gem-- so friendly and attentive-- wish I had caught her name! Great spot in the Albany area.

Accommodated a large group. Was able to get individual checks which is important for a group of 25. Lexi our server was excellent!

BJs used to be one of my favorite restaurants—delicious food, reasonable prices, etc. Unfortunately this was undermined by their abysmal lack of consistency.

Over the years I’ve had orders take 45+ minutes to come out, food that randomly tastes way worse than usual, and many other frustrating issues. The most egregious of these is described in my previous review:

“My most recent take out experience was absolutely horrible. My order was not ready at the specified pick up time. After waiting nearly half an hour, an employee informed me that they had no idea how much longer it would take and advised me to cancel my order—I received no food whatsoever. I was assured I would be given a refund, however, 2 weeks and 4 phone calls later that refund has yet to materialize. I am considering contacting my bank to see if I can get the charges cancelled.”

Ultimately they gave me a refund and a gift card, but it was much more difficult than it should have been.

Recently, I opened up my takeout order to discover that they screwed up my entree. Rather than sit in the restaurant waiting forever for them to remake it or spending weeks fighting for a refund, I just threw it out and decided I'm never setting foot in BJs ever again.

I attempted to have dinner here last night.. I say attempted because the food the whole experience was terrible. The best thing of the night ? The appetizers. Other than that service was slow. The place wasn’t even filled. The bar drinks terrible .. the food even worst.. really had me regretting choosing this place. Never again that’s for sure !
