Good Greek food outside of Astoria and Mrs. Savas my Adopted Greek mother's kitchen. Food is fresh and delicious. The restaurant is a hole in the wall dive. But the food more than makes up for the lack of interior decor, character and ambience.
It is no frills which is why I'm giving 4 stars...but good Lord, that was the best moussaka I've ever had. I gave my son a bite and he wanted another. Next time will take 2 orders. Lemon potatoes were to die for. Had to come back in and edit...because the lemon chicken soup was also amazing. Will definately be going back. Ok, I went back. Hands down, the BEST chicken lemon soup in LI because they take the time to shred the chicken. Sorry Greek Bites...still love you. Upgraded...read full review
