Stopped in for lunch today while taking a break from the Hall of Fame. Our waitress, Tara, was HUSTLING! To the point where I asked her how many steps she had because she was in and out of that kitchen a ton, yet still had time to chat with us. Hoping to get back there before we head home in a few days!
This place was great. Old school bar with amazing service and good food. Live music was great and accommodating for kids. Great beer selection as well.
It's exactly as expected at an old tavern pub. The service was excellent and fast. Local and national beers. Chicken tenders and salads were fresh and excellent.

Sherman’s Tavern is an old tavern pub with excellent, fast service. The menu has something for everyone, including wings, tavern chip, chicken sandwich, salads, burgers, chicken tenders, potato skins, house salad, pulled pork fries, and a kids menu. The wings, with bourbon wet and Sherman’s dry rub, are homemade and possibly the best. Local and national beers are on tap, along with a full liquor bar and nice cool A/C. The food is fresh, excellent, and the best tasting around town. This hidden gem off the main Cooperstown drag is absolutely delicious.
