“We just had a 40th Birthday Party for our daughter & it was amazing! Starting with Bill, the Banquet Manager who was so accommodating & informative. The Maitre D was the sweetest, kindest & attentive person & the Staff were all smiles & helpful. The food was displayed with such creative ideas & delicious. Thank you to The Refuge for making our party so memorable. The guest were in awe & could not stop complementing us on having such a fabulous party. Can’t wait to book another party 🎉“

“The door man/singer lured us in just after entering little Italy. The air condition was non existent where we were seated (near the out door entrance/sidewalk, but the food was pretty good. I'm not mad at eating here, but there may have been better options.“

“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Went at 11AM on a Sunday. The parking lot was a puzzle of cars trying to get in and out and just parking anywhere they could. There was a minimal line inside. We had the steak, the chicken and the Cuban sandwiches. They were all AMAZING. The chicken and the Cuban melted my fat heart. I then ordered some to go for later on, since I live in Queens. I hope I'm out by this area again so I can order it again. Cash only, and don't look for cleanliness, just order and enjoy.“

“I cannot believe I lived in west Babylon for 7 years and only tried this place 2 years ago. I passed by so many times. The food is fantastic and my wife and I keep going back for more. Try the burbon chicken with anything. It’s not a dine in place, so just take out and I promise you will be back. Food is affordable and I highly recommend their taco salad that’s served in a crunchy bowl…. Or their nachos!“

“There are breakfast sandwiches and then there are BREAKFAST SANDWICHES. I am so happy that I stopped by to try the breakfast here. The eggs weren't drooping with oil, bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly. The ladies were extremely friendly and welcoming. Ordered 4 sandwiches and everyone really enjoyed them. Prices are extremely reasonable and will be coming here more often.

“Good food! Good drinks! Loud music and Hookah. But if in a hurry to get out fast I wouldn’t recommend it. Service was slow. Our Waiter was nice but he was extremely backed up.“
“Tried Tio's chicken about a month ago and have been back 3 times already. I usually order the half chicken with 2 sides and have enough for a small lunch the next day. The chicken is so juicy and tender. The green sauce is AMAZING, maduros are great, and the yuca fries are the best I've had. Solid good food.“
