“The restaurant was really good! This place is a small family run local restaurant that feels like an upscale place. Perfect for dates on a budget and the bento box is so worth it! The service was also very attentive. 5 stars across the board.“

“I have been searching for a new sushi spot close to home and, after many hits and misses, I finally visited Kiku Sushi Family for the first time. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and charming decor. The booth seating we received was perfect.
We were greeted warmly by two women as soon as we arrived, and they promptly seated us, ensuring we were comfortable. Our waitress, Sophia, was exceptional--attentive throughout our meal, making sure we were enjoying everything and checking if we needed anything else. She definitely added to our awesome experience. The service here is phenomenal!
The food was incredibly fresh, which is particularly reassuring when it comes to seafood. I tend to be fearful when trying new places that offer seafood.
The portion sizes for the meals were generous, and the sushi rolls had a fair amount of fish, not just packed with rice with the goal of filling you up.
This attention to quality was much appreciated!
Prices at Kiku Sushi Family are very reasonable, offering a great meal at a good price. The menu, while a bit old-school, is extensive with a wide variety of options--literally 100 different rolls and numerous appetizers, kitchen items, and more. Whether you're craving sushi, noodles, chicken, or beef, you'll find something to enjoy.
We ordered the chicken teriyaki with vegetables, the Godzilla roll appetizer, and the UFO ball appetizer. For sushi, we tried the Fashion roll, Rock 'n Roll, Hurricane, and Big Spider rolls. Everything was fantastic. I love trying new dishes each visit, and I'm excited to return and explore more of their menu items.
My only disappointment was that they don't accept American Express cards, but it wasn't a big issue--I just paid with cash.
I fully recommend trying out Kiku Sushi Family. The service and food are amazing. 11/10!“

“This is a great spot. Great service and everything on the menu is delicious. I go here regularly and am never disappointed. The sushi is so good and always tastes fresh and delicious. The other menu items are just as good! Chicken Katsu is so crispy and juicy. Even the miso soup is just better than anywhere else. I love this place.“

“We have tried all of the sushi restaurants in our surrounding area and above all of them, this is the place we prefer by far! We have had it countless times. It is always fresh and delicious! We do delivery often, which is fast, easy and always accurate. Eating in the restaurant is very enjoyable too with its wonderful atmosphere, as well as having delicious food! This is also hands down both of my children’s favorite choices for sushi and sashimi (4 and 7 years old)!

“Great customer service, good food & easy online ordering experience. It’s convenient for us to order and pickup so haven’t had it delivered but it’s always been top notch for pickup orders. The woman at the main counter is extremely helpful and very sweet.“

“My husband and I stumbled upon this cute little sushi spot and were so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious right from the start. There was a small mix-up with one of the rolls my husband ordered—it had mayo, which he doesn’t like—but as soon as we mentioned it, the staff handled it quickly and kindly with no hesitation. The service was top-notch, and we left feeling really impressed and well taken care of. We can’t wait to go back!“

“My favorite sushi place in New York. Cheap prices, fresh and delicious sushi that melts right in your mouth. Great appetizers.“
“First off we didn't have Sushi. We went there for lunch and our food was fresh, delicious and wasn't expensive. The servers were very polite and attentive and the food came out in in less than 5 minutes after the appetizer. Sitting is limited but we had no problem around 1 pm for lunch. I love the Bento box and had the lunch special. Comes with miso soup, ginger salad (which is mouth watering) and i had the chicken Katsu, with battered vegtables (eggplant and I think pumpkin). My wife had the Chicken Udon soup and it was tremendous. For the appetizer we had the pork Gyoza (similiar to dumplings) and they were light and very tasty.“
“This restaurant is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a special meal, this is the place that comes immediately to my mind. exeptionalgorgeous and varied food and a large list of dishes.helpful staff, and great spirit. Not less important, the bill is affordable. I suggest this restaurant with no doubt.“

“What a find! Nestled next to the Dunkin Donuts and where Rite Aid used to be. Well run establishment. Orders take some time but always come out perfect. Plus the food is cooked in less oily or starch heavy ways. I know there are times where one has to be in the mood for Chinese takeout but you won’t mind eating here a few nights in a row. So tasty and fresh. You don’t feel disgusted or bloated afterwards. It’s satisfying. You get something simple as chicken with vegetables and it’s delicious. The veggies are scrumptious. Don’t feel like chugging a gallon of water later either. Definitely a healthier option for takeout. Plus there’s a sushi bar with several options too. As well as several Japanese dishes cooked with tempura and ever popular miso. Started getting the soup instead of egg roll with my meal and it’s sublime. No worries about having to ask for or pay extra for white meat chicken. Again I can’t get over how fresh the food tastes and just the well fed feeling afterwards. Highly recommend this lovely little place.“
