“So I came to motor vehicle to drop off my plates and this place is right next door.My friends and I returned next weekend and it is now my new favorite local restaurant. We ordered quite a bunch of different things from the appetizers as well as an Old Bay shrimp boil and a Mussels boil. Calamari was ultra tender. Healthy portions, healthy food and reasonable prices!The walls are alive with tropical fishes swimming as beaming from overhead projectors.Looks like quite a bar too;though we were there for an early dinner.Highly recommend.I don’t understand the negative reviews from a year and more ago. The rolls tasted fresh and were great quality.Inside was nicely dim and there's two dining areas, one for hibachi which we will be back for!Service was excellent, yelp check-ins even got me a free glass of house wine! “Ive selfishly waited way too long to write this review because I kind of don't want this place to get any busier but they deserve any and all accolades. Up until I found Kiku, I hated sushi. Never was very much into fish of any kind but I have been converted. The sushi here is incredible. So fresh you'd think the ocean was in their backyard. Everyone that works here is so friendly and welcoming. The waitress barely even needs to take my order as she always remembers the little things like how i eat way too much ginger and wasabi and always get extra dressing with my salad. I've tried numerous other Sushi restaurants since Kiku and not one so far can hold a candle to the freshness, friendliness and affordability of Kiku. I couldn't recommend a restaurant more.“

This is a pretty much take out only place there is two or so seats in the place but they have many cute decorations, it is the only reason for low atmosphere rating. Food is always out quickly and they are attentive to take out customers.Vegetarian options: Crunchy tofu roll, spicy tofu soup and crunchy tofu app.“
“Awesome food! Awesome drinks! Great service. Best mojitos and I complain about every place that makes my mojitos. They make them perfectly here every time. The wasabi chips are a wonderful surprise. Lovely ambiance. Definitely try the shrimp pops and sushi platter. We have been there several times and everything is delicious. The General Tso's chicken is slightly spicy and juicy. The dim sum sampler is a great introduction to figuring out what you like. The fried rice with bone marrow was definitely something unique to try. If you are looking for a great dining experience you have to try this place out.“
“This is SUSHI!! Legit sushi on the island. We came here to celebrate valentine's day and this place did not disappoint. Honestly, only one of the few places on the island that has all the unique high end fishes e.g. Uni, Wagyu. They even have omakase which is impressive. We enjoyed their chef special rolls, BBQ Squid and Cracked Uni Roll. Highly recommend those.“

“This place is phenomenal. It’s Valentine’s Day (and Ash Wednesday) it’s swamped. I ordered take out and once I get home the bag split and my sushi went all over the floor. I was shattered at this point because I was moments away from have a perfect night with my partner. I called them and without hesitation they remade my order as quickly as possible. “A Large restaurant with a lot of bar, table and hibachi seating. Nicely decorated in a modern style. We had a hibachi dinner that we really enjoyed. The portions were generous and the steak was very tender. Excellent shrimp and lobster tail. We had the tempura banana for dessert. It was a real treat.“

“Staff here is very friendly. I got the chicken katsu bento and it was...just ok. Chicken was perfect, but the rice was super mushy. The miso soup was obviously from a ready mix and had those tiny little completely uniform freeze-dried tofu pieces. Ebi Mayo/rock shrimp was better, but tiny portion. Kani salad had more lettuce than crab and didn't have crunchy panko on top. They're also really cheap with the sauces here. Overall it'll satisfy your cravings, but don't expect to be blown away. I honestly feel they're overpriced for the quality served.“

“Take out sushi?? You bet!! I picked out one of the suggested trios for maki lunch. Salmon, tuna, and spider roll is the one I chose. All chunk no scrapings of tuna. big quality chunks of tuna and salmon. I felt the spider roll had a bit too much crunches mixed in. A serving of miso soup (included) was very good. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just a little reminder-- unless it's called in, you're gonna wait for them to make it (fresh) less than 15 minutes. And as I said earlier it's worth the coin“
“Finally came here on a Friday night date night after driving past this restaurant hundreds of times! Nice setting with low lighting and not a loud environment where you can actually have a conversation at your table. Our waiter Gianni was superb.... start to finish he made sure everything was going well and took care of all our needs. We started with the sushi/sashimi special which was spectacular. Its presentation was as great as the taste! Porterhouse for two was just enough, and a little room leftover for dessert. Food was great, drinks were perfect and the ambience was nice. There was a DJ playing in the background which was nice and gave it a fun vibe. Overall I'll be back here as there were many other items on the menu we wanted to try.“

Came here for dinner on a Saturday, and even though it was crowded, we still got a table rather fast.For an appetizer, we got K-Mac Sliders, which were delicious and probably the best thing of the night.For dinner, we got a chirashi platter, which, was very nice and featured some great fish. They don't list what your getting, which is a little annoying, but the fish was good and fresh.Service was good, and the ambiance is rather basic, but nice.“
