“Yokohama is a neighborhood Gem!!! Jen and Tony are always there to help and greet you with a smile.. The serving team are so friendly and helpful. The food is amazing whether you have hot food or sushi. The sushi menu is diverse and the sushi is is flavorful and well-balanced. The atmosphere is friendly, energetic and comfortable. My friends and family come to Yokohama all the time and we love it!! You will not be disappointed.“

“This is THE place for great sushi and great service. The sushi is fresh, the fish is great, their avocado is ripe and the people are amazing. I travel 15 miles to get here and every time it's been great food and amazing service. Don't know why I've waited so long to write a review but I hope they get the recognition they deserve. I look forward to coming back every time.“

“Its a good deal for what you get, but the food is not top notch, too salty, ramen milky, too much sugar in the sauces (like their trying to hide freshness), sushi is ok, hibatchi is ok, and you will get full when you leave. Service is good and fast, atmosphere is not bad. At the end lily liked it, so I cant really complain.“

“We ate at this Japanese restaurant in Oakdale because we had tickets for the CM Performing Arts Center and it was nearby. It was a lovely restaurant with excellent service, and the food was fine. I ordered hibachi and knew that it wouldn't be cooked in front of me, but it was very different from the hibachi I've experienced at Benihana, for example. Two friends got Bento boxes and thought they were excellent.“

“Excellent food, and service. I highly recommend if you like this type of Asian cuisine. Not much for dine in, so this is mostly for take out and delivery. I’ve never seen this place not busy, so what does that tell you. Five stars all day. Try their Gyoza if you end up going. It is the best.“

“I have been eating their food, either sit down or take out, ever since I moved out to ronkonkoma from massapequa 14 years ago. And I have to admit, i got so lucky. Finding them. Their food is fantastic, and I have been eating Japanese for 26 years, i would know by now what is good.. They are the best ive ever had. And they are great people. 👍“

“My fiance’ and I stopped here today 06/27/26 for dinner and we dined in and ordered the freshest/large sushi/sashmi roll's that was absolutely delicious. The owners/staff were very friendly and treated us like family! We definitely will be back. Thank you! Anthony D.“
“First off we didn't have Sushi. We went there for lunch and our food was fresh, delicious and wasn't expensive. The servers were very polite and attentive and the food came out in in less than 5 minutes after the appetizer. Sitting is limited but we had no problem around 1 pm for lunch. I love the Bento box and had the lunch special. Comes with miso soup, ginger salad (which is mouth watering) and i had the chicken Katsu, with battered vegtables (eggplant and I think pumpkin). My wife had the Chicken Udon soup and it was tremendous. For the appetizer we had the pork Gyoza (similiar to dumplings) and they were light and very tasty.“

“Found this spot on lunch from school and it was the perfect place to eat! A cozy small restaurant with great service and fresh food. The service was quick with enough time for me to take my lunch between class. The clear soup came out hot and fresh with beautiful tasty mushrooms. We got the sushi for 2. It had great variety and perfect portion size. Yum! I was very surprised to find this spot and will be coming back! Would be a cute, calm date night spot or for a night out with a small group of friends“

“I cannot even begin to say how amazing this place is. They spared no expense decorating and renovating this space. The food was fantastic and is very reasonably priced. They have a huge center bar and lots of Hibachi tables and seating if you are getting Sushi. PLUS a robot brought our food! Ask for Alec! He took great care of us!“
