The rolls tasted fresh and were great quality.Inside was nicely dim and there's two dining areas, one for hibachi which we will be back for!Service was excellent, yelp check-ins even got me a free glass of house wine! The rolls were beautifully made, and came out super fast.Pricing was perfect for a sushi restaurant, $8-$18 a roll and the appetizers were in the same range.“
“This place is great. It used to be called kumos and it was great. Then this whole experience was divine. The staff is very friendly and the food is so so good and they don't food. Shame you so they just keep the food coming. Everything was delicious. Tip your sushi guy and they send little special appetizers to your table ?“
“Love Aji 53, the best sushi in Bay Shore! You heard it here first folks! Plenty of seating for large parties and they have nice intimate booths and half circle booths too. Love that vibe over there in the back left. Their lunch special is where it's at fasho! Fish quality is always up to par and their ginger dressing is my favorite on the island. The only thing is that they have a free saki shot offer when you check in on Yelp, but I was denied my free shot because the supervisor mentioned they weren't honoring it anymore. They tried contacting Yelp and they never resolved their issue to remove the check-in offer. I little disappointed after that, but it is what it is. Still a returning customer bar none!“
“A friend recommended this restaurant to us to celebrate my dad's birthday. The food and staff were both great. The owner was also there that evening and was super nice, she came out to greet us and to wish for my dad to have a wonderful birthday.“
“This place seemed very trendy and I was skeptical. But after having quite a few appetizers and my entree and even dessert (something I normally don't have) it all blew everything out of the water. Everything was so flavorful and filling. Even my drink was perfectly balanced and heavenly. I knew the meal would be good, but I never imagined it as good as it was. I understand why the place was completely packed. You just have to go. I enjoyed some other steak places on LI and was very impressed, but Insignia was better than I could have ever imagined.“

Came here for dinner on a Saturday, and even though it was crowded, we still got a table rather fast.For an appetizer, we got K-Mac Sliders, which were delicious and probably the best thing of the night.For dinner, we got a chirashi platter, which, was very nice and featured some great fish. They don't list what your getting, which is a little annoying, but the fish was good and fresh.Service was good, and the ambiance is rather basic, but nice.“
