They greet you when you come in and are the only employees there (so definitely have patience though their kindness makes up for any time waiting).Each time I’ve been there they’ve given us a complementary “starter” (2 pieces per person of a spicy, on-the-house sushi).Today we went for the lunch combo and that’s been our favorite so far since the price is good for what you get and I love that it comes with a choice of miso or salad (last time we went for dinner and I had their bulgolgi sushi which was amazing but I loved how fresh and filling their lunch special was while also being budget friendly).They even served us free dessert both times; a complementary (and beautifully cut) orange slice and half a mochi each (last time it was the vanilla mochi which I loved as it reminded me of an orange creamsicle with the orange slice but today’s was a matcha mocha that was absolutely delicious).We’ll definitely be back :)Vegetarian options: I had a sweet potato sushi roll that was so good! I also see they have avocado rolls and other rolls that are just surrounded by a single but delish vegetable.Kid-friendliness: There was a mom and her little toddler waiting for takeout; the owners not only gave them the complementary starter while they waited for their order but even a whole mochi to the toddler as she was waiting with her mom. “Went on a Monday when a lot of other sushi places are typically closed. I am happy to report that the fish was very fresh. We did the omakase. It is $120 a person for 15 tastings. They also offer 10% cash discount. The staff were very attentive. The inside is very modern and clean. The omakase was a great experience with various different flavor profiles. I liked that the omakase included appetizers and dessert. Definitely would recommend.“

“Ive selfishly waited way too long to write this review because I kind of don't want this place to get any busier but they deserve any and all accolades. Up until I found Kiku, I hated sushi. Never was very much into fish of any kind but I have been converted. The sushi here is incredible. So fresh you'd think the ocean was in their backyard. Everyone that works here is so friendly and welcoming. The waitress barely even needs to take my order as she always remembers the little things like how i eat way too much ginger and wasabi and always get extra dressing with my salad. I've tried numerous other Sushi restaurants since Kiku and not one so far can hold a candle to the freshness, friendliness and affordability of Kiku. I couldn't recommend a restaurant more.“

I never thought of this place as a prime sushi location, but I was delightfully mistaken! Amazing, fresh cuts of fish. I am very particular about my steaks, though, especially considering this is a well-known steakhouse. I ordered medium rare, but it was pretty significantly overcooked. It was still delicious, and I didn't want to make a big deal of it. But, because of how expensive everything was, I was tempted. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience. I'm just hoping for the correct steak temperature for next time!“

“I'm an avid sushi lover and always like trying new places. This was my first time at MoCA. The ambience and decor were nice. I love the design of the seating area and bar. Booths were super spacious and comfortable. My husband and I ordered 2 appetizers (Mini Rolls and Indian Pancakes) and 2 specialty rolls (American Dream Roll and Baja Roll). Everything was delicious, just wish the rolls were a little bigger. Definitely on the smaller side compared to tons of other sushi restaurants I've been too. Honestly, we were still hungry after that. So order more than you think. We were going to order the Mille (Green Tea) Crêpe Cake but they ran out for the night. Looked really promising though. For cocktails I first ordered a margarita and I feel bad saying this but, it was one of the worst margaritas I've ever had and my husband agreed. It didn't taste anything like a margarita, and it was sour and just weird. However, the waitress was nice enough to switch out my drink and I ended up ordering a Jalapeño Mango Martini instead, which was delicious. Overall everything was good just wish the sushi had a bigger serving.“

Really good amount of lobster, good crunch, and the sweet mango sauce was a good combination. For my main, I got the Farmingdale roll. The combo of the spicy yellowtail, and the pepper tuna and pepper salmon worked so well. I really enjoy the peppered fish. The sauces on top weren't overpowering either.This really is a nice spot to go. Great for a casual sit down or even a date night.Parking: Lots of parking.“

The miso soup was obviously from a ready mix and had those tiny little completely uniform freeze-dried tofu pieces. Ebi Mayo/rock shrimp was better, but tiny portion. Kani salad had more lettuce than crab and didn't have crunchy panko on top. They're also really cheap with the sauces here. Overall it'll satisfy your cravings, but don't expect to be blown away. I honestly feel they're overpriced for the quality served.“

“Take out sushi?? You bet!! I picked out one of the suggested trios for maki lunch. Salmon, tuna, and spider roll is the one I chose. All chunk no scrapings of tuna. big quality chunks of tuna and salmon. I felt the spider roll had a bit too much crunches mixed in. A serving of miso soup (included) was very good. Overall, definitely worth a visit. Just a little reminder-- unless it's called in, you're gonna wait for them to make it (fresh) less than 15 minutes. And as I said earlier it's worth the coin“

“MIKO Sushi and Hibachi in East Northport is one of the better sushi and hibachi restaurants around. The staff very nice and helpful. It is always fun to bring the Kids or Grandkids to enjoy the hibachi show. The place has a nice bar area when you come in. There is plenty of seating all around.“
“My wife & I used to always go to the Centerreach location until they were under new ownership and then eventually closed down. We were so happy to find that the Commack location is still around. There is no other Sushi restaurant we've been to compared to Sushi Palace! It's all you can eat & the environment is nice & clean. The service was amazing, the staff were kind & the food was awesome as usual. I give Sushi Palace a 10/5 if I could!“
“Kohaku is my favorite Japanese restaurant. I've been coming here for over 30 years. The owner and staff are always courteous and nice. The atmosphere is cozy and there are plenty of tables for the patrons to sit down. The food is very good. I usually order the Johnnie roll which consists of crabmeat, avocado, cucumber, rolled in seaweed and topped with shredded crab meat and spicy mayonnaise. It has eight pieces and is a delicious meal especially in the summer. I also like their delicately fried shrimp tempura with tempura vegetables and sauce. Before your meal, they bring out a vegetable appetizer which is nice. I highly recommend Kohaku for lunch or dinner as well at take out.“
“A Large restaurant with a lot of bar, table and hibachi seating. Nicely decorated in a modern style. We had a hibachi dinner that we really enjoyed. The portions were generous and the steak was very tender. Excellent shrimp and lobster tail. We had the tempura banana for dessert. It was a real treat.“
