The staff is very friendly and accommodating allowing my daughter to customize her bento box. Tonight we took out & I left my phone on the bar. “This is one of the greatest Asian cuisine restaurants I have ever been to, I have been consistently purchasing the crab Rangoon for the last 2 years and I quite enjoy it every single time I come. The California rolls are also a second favorite of mine. There is always adequate seating with nice booths and even hand sanitizer at every table, I love the selection of beverages from Japanese sodas to the fountain drinks and everything also has the correct sauce (yum yum sauce, soy sauce is my usual selection). The service however is USUALLY excellent and fast, I always get what I ask for when I ask for it, HOWEVER there has been one individual working the counter who has been giving me issues for the last 5-6 months. There used to be an older Asian women at the counter who was excellent however this younger woman has been occupying the counter and she is insufferable sometimes. One time I went here and she ignored me multiple times trying to order, gave me the wrong receipt, has repeatedly to this day given me issues about certain items and constantly misses some, I always need to ask for my drink to be brought with the food, she gives me my crab Rangoon without sauce sometimes and she’ll even forgot the chopsticks for the sushi?! I miss the older Asian woman but am rejoiced whenever there is the male Asian working the counter, he is also great and is very efficient in what he does, I will continue coming here for as long as I do but I have to review this place now due to my discontent with the younger Asian worker.“

“My goodness, we recently moved into the neighborhood and we have tried a few sushi joints in the past couple of months. We have tried Mr. J's several time and I must say, it's probably the best sushi in the area. The quality of the ingredients is very good, extremely fresh, they use very little rice so you can actually taste the ingredients, and they roll the sushi really tightly so that it doesn't fall apart if you breathe a little too close.

The owners are extremely friendly, the restaurant clearly focuses on the quality of their takeout since they don't have any tables, which is great because they can focus on cranking out bags and bags of orders. The more you order, they give you free rolls which is really nice. Even my kid, who is a little picky, crushes his spicy kani rolls, not a single grain of rice left, which makes me really happy. Nothing fancy, but they consistently serve great quality food and service with a friendly smile. Can't ask for anything more.

I am a little curious about the name, who's Mr. J? J-San would have made more sense but since they make good food, I'll respectfully call them whatever they want me to.“

“I get the shrimp tempura 3 roll combo almost every week. What makes this place different from others is their CONSISTENCY! Every week I come it’s the same great tasting quality. We got the shrimp gyoza, the sashimi platter appetizer, Sushi sandwich and spider roll. Everything was excellent, fresh and full of flavor, the sauce with the gyoza was amazing, and my daughter loved her rolls. Definitely check them out. “We have tried all of the sushi restaurants in our surrounding area and above all of them, this is the place we prefer by far! We have had it countless times. It is always fresh and delicious! We do delivery often, which is fast, easy and always accurate. Eating in the restaurant is very enjoyable too with its wonderful atmosphere, as well as having delicious food! “Went tonight with my family of 5. We were seated with three others at our table. We ordered 3 extra noodles and 3 extra vegetables for our group of 5. When we were served, there was a very tiny portion of noodles and our extra vegetables were split among all 8 people at our table, even though we ordered for our party of 5 and were not with the others. My son ordered extra rice which he didn’t get and I had to wait for the waiter to fry me a steak because he ran out of the first batch. The food tasted good but I didn’t get what I paid for and I am disappointed.“
