Two Thirty Six Reviews
This little spot goes toe to toe with the best in NYC!
Really incredible find! The food and drinks were phenomenal. Literally no complaints. Staff and manager extremely nice and attentive.
So happy we stumbled on this spot. We will absolutely be back.
We ate in the bar lounge and didn’t do the Omakase, but it was fantastic.
The Martinique fashioned cocktail was delicious. Please do not get rid of this!

Two Thirty Six is a unique dining spot that offers an incredible experience, blending a city vibe with a Long Island charm. The atmosphere is inviting, with the right lighting and a fun ambiance that makes it perfect for special occasions like anniversaries or birthdays. The restaurant is known for its phenomenal food and drinks, with many guests praising the delicious Martinique fashioned cocktail and the high-quality ingredients used in the dishes.
The omakase experience stands out, with guests noting that every dish is beautifully presented and full of flavor. Many consider it to be the best omakase they’ve ever had, highlighting the attentive and engaging service from the staff. The new chef has brought fresh ideas to the menu, although some diners have suggested a few enhancements, such as cooking the A5 Wagyu in front of guests and adding a traditional hand roll.
While the food is largely praised, there have been some inconsistencies, with a few dishes receiving mixed reviews. Some guests felt that certain courses were not up to par, particularly with the lobster and a couple of sauces. However, overall, the experience at Two Thirty Six is highly regarded, making it a must-visit for those seeking a memorable meal in a lively setting. The restaurant is definitely a contender among the best dining spots in the area.
