My family and I had dinner there and everything was fantastic! From the service to the food to the atmosphere, it’s such a great addition to Market Street! The best thing, however, is how gluten friendly it is! I have celiac and was able to have fresh-made gluten free pasta! There are a lot of choices on the menu that are either gluten free or that can be made gluten friendly. We will definitely be back!
A wonderful new addition to Corning. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh, servings are wonderful to be shared, and service is also great!
10/10 recommend for his restaurant.

Ellen & Michael's Osteria & Market is a beautiful, welcoming Italian eatery on Market Street in Corning. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, with a cohesive and intentional design featuring generations of family photos and the sight of fresh pasta being made. The vibe is fun, vibrant, and homey, feeling special enough for a date but comfortable for a weeknight family dinner.
The food is incredible, delicious, and exquisite, offering a mix of traditional Italian American dishes with high-end, well-thought-out portions. Favorites include the whipped ricotta, arancini, and perfect house-made focaccia. The fresh pastas, like the mom's sauce spaghetti, carbonara, and ravioli, are top tier with amazing sauces. Other standout dishes are the pork in mustard sauce, eggplant parm, and a uniquely fresh Caesar salad. There are many gluten-free options, including pasta that reheats well. For dessert, the house-made hazelnut gelato, cannoli, and apricot biscotti are amazing. The espresso and espresso martini are also top notch.
The experience is an absolute gem, with excellent service and really reasonable prices for the quality. It’s a 10/10 recommendation, a place where you will leave happily full, often with delicious leftovers.
