The cafe serves great sandwiches, including the Mediterranean sandwich and the chicken & avocado sandwich on sourdough bread, along with an eclectic menu of salads and delicious homemade soups. Diners can enjoy a quick lunch or a leisurely meal in a cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, with seating available both indoors and outdoors on Market Street. The ice cream is perfection, with an ample selection of flavors like coconut, peach supreme, caramel-truffle, and chocolate-raspberry. The staff go above and beyond to make customers feel welcome and engaged. While prices may be a bit high, the large portions and overall experience are worth it. Customers have noted that the chef salad and Turkey Reuben are also excellent choices. In good weather, guests can eat outside in the beautiful centerway square and watch people in front of the clock tower. Though parking can be tricky near the restaurant, public parking is available a block away, and it is free on weekends.
