“I got takeout and these were the best tacos I've ever had. The gentleman working was very kind and was willing to make vegetarian-friendly tacos for me. They were delicious! I'll definitely come again.Vegetarian options: I requested a vegetarian taco and they made it happen! (:“
“I went here for dinner tonight with a good friend of mine, we had a great time! The atmosphere is fun & welcoming, live music was good & not too loud , just right !We both had quesadillas, barria & chicken, they were good but I will say a little empty, for the price they should have been full! Our waiter , Carlos was so wonderful, he was attentive & such a great personality, Thank you !Desserts were delicious, Churros & Tres Leches cake !“
“Decent spot to stop by and grab a quick bite. Service is friendly and relatively quick. Prices are regular. Ordered their fish tacos which were pretty tasty. Also got a side of guacamole which was a bit bland. Noting for those looking for actual Mexican food, this is not Mexican food, but rather an Americanized version of Mexican food.“
“Wonderful little spot! Little bar and small dining room...needs more decor, but I like it. Great selection of beer, cocktails and appetizers! Happy hour daily, 2-6pm with beer specials! The complimentary chips and salsa were amazing...Best birria around, hands down...We had the birria tacos and the quesabirria...Sooooooo delicious!Try this hidden gem soon! (We came back again two days later for an encore and tried the Alambre plato and chorizo tacos!)“
“Having explored numerous Mexican eateries throughout upstate, I must confess that my quest for satisfying flavors was met with disappointment—until I stumbled upon this gem. While the interior may not boast flashy decor and the space may not rival the larger establishments upstate, the real treasure lies in the exceptional food they serve. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—their tacos and burritos. Each bite was an explosion of authentic Mexican flavors that transported me to a culinary haven. The carefully crafted combinations of ingredients showcased the expertise and passion of the culinary team. I can't recommend them enough—truly a must-try!As much as I'd love to share my experience with tamales, fate seems to play a teasing game, for they are consistently sold out. It's a bit of a disappointment, but it only fuels my determination to try them someday. I've heard fantastic things, and I'm sure they live up to the reputation of their other dishes. In spite of the unassuming setting, this little eatery captures the heart and palate with its delectable offerings. If you're seeking an authentic Mexican dining experience that triumphs over fancy decor, this place is your best bet. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, hoping to get a taste of those elusive tamales!“
“So I’ve been dying to order from her because the menu is exceptional and different. The reviews have also been excellent. I ordered the guacamole and chips and the Al Pastor tacos via DoorDash. Both were delicious. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because there were supposed to be 3 tacos and they were supposed to come with basmati rice and refried beans. I only received 2 tacos and no rice or beans. Puzzling since the prices were not cheap. I don’t mind paying them it’s just I did not receive what I ordered. So this is a follow up to my review and response to the restaurant. You are correct. I ordered the wrong item. I ordered through DoorDash and after going back to look at the menu they provide the I should have ordered the tacos with 3 in the order. My apologies for the error. The tacos I did have were delicious and I will be ordering again and making sure I choose the correct items.“
“This has become a dangerous place to live so close to because it's so delicious! I recommend the chicken Torta (no jalapenos if you don't like spicy). Their food is delicious and the staff are so polite. Their burritos are super yummy and if you love empanadas I absolutely recommend the beef and chicken.“
“Best tacos in area by far, skip hudson taco and come here. Not to mention great owner/chef who is always warm and friendly. New restaurant is beautiful, clean & airy. Not too far off the main strip and in an area with cute vintage stores. Only place I’ll go for tacos now!“
“Had the beef and shrimp tacos both were really delicious. Let’s not forget about the green and red sauce that comes with tacos! It’s sooooo good!!!! And spicy love it! I ordered the chips and salsa which tasted more like ketchup and didn’t taste authentic like salsa. But i will try other things, Especially breakfast!“
“I’ve been to Cilantro twice. It has mixed reviews, but I’m not one to be scared off by those. The first time I had the enchiladas de mole poblano y pollo. I try mole often because I love chocolate and the idea of it in a sauce intrigues me. Cilantro’s mole is the best I’ve ever tasted with a richness and depth of flavor I haven’t had elsewhere. My husband had the chicken taco salad and was impressed as well. They did not skimp on the chicken and it didn’t taste like Cisco chicken. Last night I had the black bean and mango salad. It was good but I ate some of it with chips as it was sweet and their salsa is sweet too. House margs are $1.50 off during happy hour - bringing them to $8.50 at the time of this review. José was attentive and my meal came quickly last night.“
“I have one of the best burritos of my life here. The steak was perfectly tender, the sauces were all delicious and as any burrito aficionado knows, it’s incredibly important to make sure ingredients are spread out evenly so you get a little bit of everything in every bite. That’s how good this burrito was. Can’t wait to have more.“
“Finally visited this food truck. I had 3 tocos. I had steak, brisket and spicy Mexican sausage. The steak was my favorite.the menu looks great. There is I think 2 or 3 covered tables to eat. I will be back again soon! I recommend there tacos“
“This was one of the best burritos I’ve had in my life! All fresh, and made from scratch! My husband had the Carnitas and I had the chicken and we both loved it! The service is great, and the food tastes like home! We highly recommend this place :)“
“Delicious tacos and tortas. Everything very fresh. Chicken cutlets are amazing. Five layer Nachos and homemade mole sauce look so good. Service is nice and friendly. Small family run business. Will definitely return. Great parking, easy access in and out.“
“The place was sooooo cosy and the food was amazing! The service was wonderful, I felt like an old friend despite meeting him for the first time. The meal was fantastic and it’s not in the photo because I forgot to include it but they gave me rice as well which was also fantastic. Overall 10/10 experience and I’m grateful ?“
“We ordered take-out for the first time tonight ... WOW! We tried a lot of different things from the menu and split the portions amongst our family of 6. The food was absolutely incredible! Authentic, delicious, and a perfect blend of spices! Their "chorizo" is to die for. We cannot wait to place our next order!“
“Best chilequiles I have ever had. Great service, very clean, quick, friendly, and best of all the food was authentic. The chips and salsa were also fantastic. Highly recommend. The owners even came out and talked with us. One of the best Mexican places around in an area with many to choose from. If you're in the area, stop by!!!“
“I came here for a meeting and the atmosphere was incredible. The happy hour menu was good with even better prices. The margaritas were hitting. If you are looking for good Mexican food with good drinks. I highly recommend coming here and enjoying their Happy hour food and drinks “
“If you want great service, food and atmosphere in Mexican with great drinks this is the place for you !!!Kid-friendliness: There very understanding when it comes to childrenWheelchair accessibility: Front doors are wide open, tables are at a good height“
“Love a place that doesn't put rice in a burrito!! The burrito came with rice & a little pico de gallo salad, and we were given red and green chili sauces. The food was excellent, great mix of veggies in the burrito, great flavor balance, and all for great value. The pizza looked pretty good, too! We stopped off the thruway and we were glad we did. There was seating inside with cute tablecloths, and a great selection of tropical fruit juices available. Plenty of parking. Worth the detour!“
“We took a group of people there and really enjoyed it. We are very used to Mexican food having traveled extensively in Mexico and also now live in San Diego. Mexican food is hard to be in San Diego this place came pretty close. Even though we had a very large group took excellent care of us. We especially liked the fajitas in a couple of our people hadn't had them before and says that will be there go to dish from now on.The service there was amazing it seem like every two minutes someone was by asking if we something.I highly recommend this place like to take some pictures unfortunately the battery died did not come out.Parking: open.“
“Amazing, authentic Mexican food prepared and served in a timely manner! The grill is literally just a few feet away! Street tacos for the win! Great fajitas and salsa! Verde sauce added the perfect ouch to anything we enjoyed. Highly recommend!“
“The homemade salsa is great, I had the taquitos al carbon, they are amazing, the meat is very juicy and tender, m y wife had the enchiladas suizas the green sauce is so flavorful and the enchiladas are packed with chicken , we will definitely revisit, next time I'll remember to take pics of the food. Our sever was very humble and sweet“
“My mother and I came to fill a prescription at the Rite Aid and decided that we wanted lunch. We decided that maybe trying somewhere new would be good! We found this place, and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and setting. We were seated quickly and served chips and salsa as a snack before the meal. The chips and salsa were great! But the main dazzler was the tacos. My mother and I both had the salmon tacos. 3 come in an order, and I must say, they knocked it out of the park with the flavor of the salmon. The sauce that had a lil kick to it and the sauce it was served with on the side was also quite tasty. The service was great and the food excellent! Highly recommend!“
“Give it a try since I had yet to have Latin food in the area. Very friendly here and happy to make sure your order is correct here. I got a large order of stewed chicken with yellow rice and black beans, plus two beef empanadas. Stewed chicken was tender and moist, feel right off the bone good and it really soaked up the gravy sauce, like carrots and potatoes. Yellow rice was fluffy and lightly seasoned, black beans were good, not much on them. Now the beef empanadas, they best part of the meal, the outer crust, was fresh and flaky, I love well seasoned crust and the filling, plenty of beef chucks and ground up beef, I like it was mix of two rather then just ground beef. Dipping sauce was amazing for the empanadas, very spicy and savory.“
“Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the area, and possibly the beat Mexican food I have had; easily in the top 10 anyway. on Friday through the weekend they serve their Al Pastor tacos and cemitas. I'm talking about fresh, cut pineapple, a proprietary secret spice blend from their home town of Puebla in Mexico and incredibly fresh ingredients. The price is so cheap for the amount of food you get in the quality of it.“
“Hacienda is a really cool restaurant! Authentic decor, delicious large servings and excellent service is what this restaurant is all about! We stopped ourself and enjoyed every bite. The guacamole is out of this world! Not a bad dish in the whole place. Check it out for yourself.“
“Ok,,, i actually can’t express how great this place is. They gave us free quesadillas, free dessert, and a free shot?!! Not saying this will happen for everyone, but even other than that it’s a really fun place with good food, drinks and service.“
“I'm a New Yorker who constantly visit Texas. After several visit I stop eating Mexican food in Ny. It just not the same. BUUUUTTTTT this location take the cake. It's chef's kiss good. It so authentic, well cooked and delicious. If I don't live hour and half away this would be my go to spot.“
“Wonderful local spot for authentic Mexican food. From the basic rice and beans to their slow cooked mole enchiladas, I've always enjoyed eating at Las Margaritas. The service can get a little slow when they get busy, but it's a great little restaurant that serves delicious food!“
