La Cabaña Antojitos Dominicanos is one of the best Dominican food spots in the Corona neighborhood. We’ve been coming here for a long time, and the quality is always solid.
The chicharrones de cerdo and chicharrones de pollo are honestly some of the best around — super crispy, flavorful, and always fresh. The taste is excellent every time. The prices are definitely a little higher compared to other places, and the portions aren’t the biggest, but the flavor makes it worth it.
We usually dine in and also order takeout, and the experience is always good. The place is clean, service is friendly, and they move fast.
The only downside is the parking — it’s tough in this area, especially during busy hours. But even with the parking situation, this spot is still absolutely worth the visit for great Dominican comfort food.

Looks like the quality has gone down as much as the area. Ordered a pastelle but had 2 grams of meat inside them. Good joke guys...sin relleno

This place use to have great food. Unfortunately lately the food is horrible. My husband bought tostones and chicharrón, the tostones seem old and soaking in oil. It looked like they were refrigerated and refried. The chicharrón was hard and not thoroughly cooked. I have no words for why they would call this Dominican food. It’s giving our Dominican food a bad reputation. If I didn’t know better I would think Dominican food is horrible. Needless to say I will never eat there again 🤢

We visited La Cabaña as a family specifically to try their chicharrón, and it absolutely delivered. Easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time—perfectly crispy, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. It’s clear they know what they’re doing when it comes to this dish!
The ambiance was decent—nothing fancy, but comfortable enough for a laid-back family meal. It had a relaxed, no-frills vibe that worked well for the experience.
Service was just okay—attentive at times but generally average. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely an area that could use a bit of improvement to match the quality of the food.
Overall, I’d highly recommend La Cabaña for anyone craving top-notch chicharrón. It’s a solid spot with excellent flavors and a casual setting.

Best quick fried food. The food is always fresh.
This place maintains their flavor and freshness of their chicharron over the years. Definitely will coming back to this place.
You don't come here because its beautiful you don't celebrate your birthday here. This is exclusively a place you come for fried food that is delicious. The tables wobble the Spanish music is relatively loud. Its crowded with good reason its tasty as could be a perfect neighborhood fried food spot.
My family and I been eating fried food from this place for over 20 + years and today I had my first monfongo and I was extremely disappointed, the mofongo had barely or if any garlic and chicharrón was like carne frita I barely saw any chicharrón if it was supposed to be it , very dry and on the shrimp mofongo I don’t recommend anyone getting it here, ask exactly how is made before you regret it, I order one for my wife cause she wanted one and they gave me a mofongo (shrimp mofongo) with Chinese fried shrimps, if anyone ever order Chinese food and order fried shrimps w/ pork fried rice you know what I’m saying, very disappointed with the mofongo and the price even hurt more $50.00 for those two mofongo that’s insane, I don’t recommend the mofongo from here but everything else is pretty decent, sorry for this long review but I was really excited I was gonna enjoy this but the let down was way too much
