So I'm going to be honest, I used to love going to the Hall of Science and I was just there right before covid-19 hit. My cousin from Colombia came and we had the most amazing time. Now 5 years later, I went to have the same experience with someone and it was nowhere near the same. Half of the things on display didn't even work. It's more for children to do hands on stuff. It's entertaining if you have kids and you wish for them to participate in workshop activities. But the ant farm, the bubbles where the adults could play as well, the astronaut cut out board for pictures in the front, the cow eye presentation, the little room that had the floor that would go up high and it was supposed to make you experience gravity, the rocks and minerals, all of that is GONE. We paid $48 to get in and we looked around and it was so short because it was over in 10 minutes lol. It's embarrassing that THIS is our Hall of Science now. This is what our youth is exposed to. Not cool. This place used to fill your head up with all these amazing facts and new knowledge. I should also mention, the worker there told me there was a flood during the storm and it messed up all of the exhibits. But I hope they can turn it back into what it used to be.HIGHLIGHT: I will say however, the ice cream served in the vending machine was delicious and impressive. It was $10 for one scoop but I got all the toppings on it and I'd honestly pay that again! Lol the amount for the ice cream was worth way more than the entire visit at this place. Even though it wasn't working but luckily there was a security guy standing right there who fixed it for us. The ice cream was delicious!

I’ve been here multiple times to Chaperone for school trips and there’s always something new to explore. The Exhibits are endless and for everyone to enjoy/learn from. The best time to go, would probably be when there are no class trips, so you can take your time and not feel rushed out of an area due to an abundance of people. Call ahead to see if schools are scheduled to visit, on the days you plan on going.Chris & Reyna did an awesome presentation on liquid nitrogen! They were great to watch and learn from. The many times I’ve been here, I know I have yet to see all the exhibits this place has to offer! Looking forward to going again.

The New York Hall of Science, affectionately known as NYSCI, is a dynamic science museum located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York City. Housed in one of the few remaining structures from the 1964 New York World’s Fair, NYSCI stands as the city’s only hands-on science and technology center. With over 400 interactive exhibits, it focuses on biology, chemistry, and physics, aiming to make STEM education accessible and exciting for all. NYSCI is not just a museum; it’s a vibrant educational hub that hosts workshops, such as the Congressional App Design Challenge, and has been recognized with the 2023 National Science Board Science and Society Award.

Best MUSEUM EVER! Have been coming here my whole life and I can't stress enough how awesome it is! Even if you don't really enjoy science it's wicked to come and explore you'll defintely find at least one exhibit that you'll enjoy. It's super interactive which I loved. It's great for kids there's an outdoor olplayground too. There's also a cafeteria . What I wish they could do is make it more affordable because it's kinda expensive to be honest. It can also get pretty crowded.

There was barely any science. What happened?! I used to love this place. If you go during the community hours (free on Fri 2pm - 5pm), some exhibits will be closed. I will say that I will be back w my kiddo during the summer to try the mini golf and playground. But that's only because he wants to try it.
