Visiting area for a funeral and found Red's on the highway. Just missed the early bird special which ends at 5:30PM and looked like a great deal since included salad, entrée and dessert. Wednesday night was burger night and they had several burgers to choose from. Only one of us ordered the burger and it was very good. One ordered salmon and I ordered grouper which was excellent! The salads that came with the dinners were fresh and crispy and the warm rolls were wonderful!! The waitress Rachel was very pleasant. Interior is clean and attractive considering this place started in 1944! Look forward to stopping in again next time I come through!! Asian dishes on the menu will be my next trip.

On our way home from Baltimore my wife and I stopped for the night in West Coxsakie, NY. Red's Restaurant wasn't too far from our hotel so we decided to have dinner there. It turned out to be a good choice. It is a nice family restaurant with a pretty extensive menu. We were seated immediately and Lisa our waitress was very helpful. We ordered the Bowl of New England chowder, and then shared the steamed little neck clams and the Combination Fry with shrimp, scollops, clams & oysters. Everything was very good, especially when you think about having seafood this far inland. There were many items on the menu which look very interesting and worth another visit. Their menu is posted on their website.

OUT OF BUSINESS!!! DON’T GO!!!Gave it a star by accident and not able to remove it. Wasted 50 minutes to find this place and then find that it was completely shut down. There’s no sign to tell of what happened. Google should update this ASAP!

We were hungry, hard to find a sit down for lunch in this area. We came across this place and glad we stopped. We had a fried veggie appetizer, small green salad and a seafood sampler. It is like in a time warp back to the fifties.

Excellent Restaurant and Service in a charming supper club like setting. Whoa! For a minute I thought I was in Wisconsin. Everyone was so nice! Guess not after reading a couple of recent reviews! Some people have no respect for the time and effort it takes to professionally staff a place like this and keep it alive in the middle of a pandemic. I experienced great service with a personal touch, and enjoyed items from a tested menu with lots of great choices, so much, that you can go wrong. Good prices, more than a fair value for the money. Big deal if someone makes a minor service mistake, or if your asked to use hand sanitizer! Rules are in effect to keep people safe! Kudo's to a team of devoted people who work hard to do their best in order that you can go out and have a nice time.

Lots of choices to eat. Ceasar salad was plenty and good. Friend has fish sandwich that was good. We choose to sit outside on the patio, glad we did. Had to walk through the restaurant to get to the patio, restaurant smelled musty. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Would only go back if we can sit on the patio.

Tried Red's with family of 6 and really was not impressed. The person seating folks had a shield on with no mask and her mouth exposed. Yet they demand you use hand sanitizer and wear a mask. Staff just seemed to be twisted. I ordered a meal that included shrimp cocktail, the waitress forgot to bring it. What???? How do forget, is ts written down. When the food came my potatoes were room temperature and the fried fish was a bit warmer. Then there was the stranger experience a young lady comes over looks at my dish half eaten, everyone else is still eating, she says "all set?", I reply No, she walks away. The entire experience at Red's was not one that we enjoyed. I would never go back, nor would I recommend it. We could have done better for the money spent there. Much better local establishment's in the area.

Horribly rude the second we walked through the door. Never got past the front desk. At check in she said 5-10 minutes. When we politely asked after 15 minutes if our table was ready- hostess haughtily replied in a few more minutes and was terribly rude. This is not a 5 star restaurant..lol We will never come back. It was in the evening 7:30pm with 2 children in tow and myself with a broken foot.

This was the only restaurant in Greene County, NY that had a special "Valentine's Day" dinner !! They actually ran the specials Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I was really surprised of the lack of restaurants celebrating this Holiday, My wife and I both had the "Shore Platters" which started with a shrimp cocktail followed by deep fried Tiger shrimp, sea scallops, Ipswich clams, oysters and haddock. Salads and vegetables included. Very good food and filling, my wife took part of her meal home. Our server, Rachael was somewhat attentive. Women attending the dinner were given a red carnation flower which was a nice touch.

Je n’avais jamais osé m’y arrêter et j’ai eu tord. Les propriétaires sont d’une extrême gentillesse et leur cuisine est juste délicieuse. Cela faisait longtemps que je n’avais pas dégusté un gyros aussi bon !

Some of the best and freshest food around. The owner is incredibly kind and provided a great experience for such a small restaurant
