Reds Restaurant Reviews
I wanted to take my mom out for a birthday dinner at reds, seafood is her favorite and it was close to home. we ordered the steamed clams and there was a hair in it.. the waitress took it back and had them make a new batch... then we ordered the crab legs to share and they had no flavor what so ever. for the price of the crab legs it was so disappointing they had no seasoning and tasted so bland.... we both had upset stomaches the next day too. what a huge disappointment
AMAZING service and knowledge of celiac! separate fryer for our daughter's food. the crab legs, lobster tail and fried shrimp and haddock were 10/10. 2 gluten free deserts too, the best spot!!!!
Had an Amazing dinner last night. Raw oysters and clams $1. Surf and turf Filet mignon and lobster tails, fried platter and bacon wrapped scallop appetizer. Was NOT disappointed. Drove over an hour to experience this seafood and is the ONLY place I'd ever go back to for it again. Beautiful sunset setting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Reds Restaurant is a well-known establishment that has been operating for over 80 years. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with a bar area and separate rooms for large parties. Parking is available in front of the building and behind it, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with a ramp at the front.
The restaurant is known for its fresh seafood, including raw oysters, shrimp cocktail, and steamed littlenecks, served with delicious drawn butter with garlic for dipping. The Prime Rib is cooked to perfection, and the stuffed shrimp is filled with a tasty seafood stuffing of shrimp and crab, served with chive mashed potatoes and roasted tri-colored cauliflower. The creme brûlée is a must-try for dessert, with its perfectly creamy texture and unique sugar flavor.
The service is generally friendly and attentive, with staff ready to chat and make excellent cocktails. The restaurant offers a small kids' menu, making it a decent option for families with young children. However, there have been some reports of slow service and issues with the quality of food.
Overall, Reds Restaurant is a good choice for those looking for a classic dining experience with delicious seafood options, but diners should be aware of potential inconsistencies in food quality and service.
