Excellent food and the staff is TOP NOTCH!!!
Great food, experience and hospitality. We got off the water later than anticipated, and the bartender and owner were kind, clear, and helpful about what they could prepare as their kitchen was closing shortly. I was able to place an order just in time and the owner made sure that everything stayed warm until my friends were able to meet up with me. Fine dining disguised as a fisherman's bar. Everything about this place was fantastic. Service with a smile, food made with love from quality ingredients, great recipes and food combinations. Live music on the weekend.

Pheasant Tail Tavern is a spacious restaurant with friendly staff and good food. The menu could use more variety, but the poutine and shrimp po boy were tasty. The French onion soup and chicken BLT were also delicious. Despite some kitchen delays and mix-ups with orders, the attentive wait staff made the dining experience enjoyable. The tavern is a solid option for a sit-down meal, though the menu could benefit from more diverse and experimental dishes.
