Never a disappointment! Especially, when Lisa is serving us! The garlic lobster, chefs kiss! But what what was most amazing, was that my husband was torn between two dishes and they gave him a half serving of each. My friend wanted something that was not even on the menu and they made the dish for him! The food of course was spectacular!!

We had a 600 reservation on a Friday....first timers. When we were seated in the dining room, it was fairly quiet. Quickly the restaurant filled & became very noisy & congested with staff bumping into my chair frequently. The menu small but had many specials....all very complicated dishes. Our server was rather abrupt & seemed to be urging us to order before we were ready.. Conversation at the table was not the easiest. IMHO the tables are too close for comfort, but...

We met friends from New Jersey for a New Years Eve meal at Il Toscano in Douglaston. The proprietor greeted many guests by name, very impressive that he knows the clientele and makes them feel at home. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly to our reservation time (we were there 15 minutes early) There was a nice holiday menu. The food and service was really good, though one in our party was not happy with the portion of bronzino. I had chicken scarpariello, which was excellent,...
