Overall the cuisine in upstate New York is a downgrade from what I'm used to in SoCal but this place is the exception to that, to be fair it leans into the things that east coasters actually are good at, such as baking bread and slicing meat and cheese; as Pete Davidson said in his now-infamous Taco Bell commercial they serve "tasty, simple food" with quality ingredients prepared with militant precision. Stopped here on our way to Bash Bish Falls from the city looking for sandwiches. It's a cute mom & pop shop. Clean and very homey. There's no official house menu so you have to go in with the mindset of knowing exactly what you want. No craft chef here. My recommendation: get the roast beef with white American cheese LTO with horseradish mayo on the hard roll and you will not be disappointed! The breakfast sandwich is reasonably priced, ice cream from the ice cream truck are close to the prices from when I was a kid.Friendly atmosphere, respectful employees. You can also get gasoline here, and there is a 24 hr laundromat. Renny's is a family business with the family atmosphere
