This was our first time there and will not be our last . Food and dessert was amazing and the gentleman working the tasting room was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Trash winery. Tasting staff made the entire tasting about themselfes without providing any information about the wines or the region. The huge old lady behind the bar was drinking more then I was during the tasting and said some EXTREAMLY racist things during the tasting and made it extremely uncomfortable. With the amout of winery's on this lake. This one should NEVER be on your list to visit.
Amazing hot soups. Great fresh sandwiches. Wide selection of fresh prepared salads (potato, veg, chicken, etc), baked goods, and local farm goods like preserves and pickled products. Friendly staff. And even wine to go with your meal. Cute patio out back to enjoy your soups/sandwiches/etc.
We come to the finger lakes every year in December/January. Tabora is by far our favorite winery on the lake. My wife and I are part of the bottle club; and we look forward to our annual restocking. Keith always makes the wine tasting experience memorable and fun. I can't recommend this winery enough!
Online it says it is open but it was closed What a 2aiste of time. Thanks
I always have a great time at Tabora! The wine is great and everyone is friendly. They also have a fantastic deli and baked goods. 10/10
Jean and Laura provided excellent service here and we would solely come back for good wine and the wonderful atmosphere they created.
My friends and me went there on a girls trip. It was our last stop before we went home. This place did not disappoint. I have to call out Jean as she was one of the most amazing person we met throughout our trip and gave us the best wine tasting experience. The food was amazing, wine exceptional, and the bakery outstanding. If you visit Seneca lake, and don’t go here, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Can’t wait to go back!
Lovely atmosphere, delicious food! Keep in mind that there’s no indoor seating for eating (I wish there was!), but there’s outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.
The lady the did our tasting was wonderful but I was definitely let down by the wine. I think if you like sweeter wines you might like it. It just wasnt for me, completely different taste than any other winery I have been to on the finger lakes and this is year 8 for me.
Restaurantji Recommends
The lady in the tasting room was commenting on having to open the cash register when it was 4:15 and the winery closes at 5. We felt rushed and we only wanted a bottle of wine to share outside. The tasting room employee seemed like she wanted to just go home. Not very pleasant.
This place is super nice!!!! Everything here was SO GOOD!!!!!!! I loved my chocolate chip cookies! I would highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where to start?! This is a fairly "new" vineyard in the area. My husband and I are serious wine drinkers who know our stuff, and appreciate a vineyard where the staff take the time to engage with us. Austin was that person at Tabora. Austin was the coolest - taking time to provide background on the wines and making recommendations based on what we like. We had the best time. We could've easily stayed all day. We ended up taking 5 bottles home. The unoaked cab Franc was 10/10. If you stop by, definitely make sure you're with Austin - he will take care of you! Cheers ?
Great wine and food, very friendly and helpful staff.
Pizza was excellent & enjoyed the Decade Band. Thanks for a good time
