“This is a small deli at LaGuardia Airport that has basic airport foods. They sell drinks, packaged sandwiches, yogurt, water, chips, etc. I'm not seeing anything healthy per se, just the regular drinks and food found at airports. They are open early and easy to shop.“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

“A wide selection of Asai (and other based) bowls. Endless combinations of fruit with added garnishments. Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

“11/8/2025 I tried the Just Salad in Bayside, and it tasted just as amazing as the one I had in Garden City! The restaurant was nice, clean, and bright — I loved the wall art and welcoming vibe.
One thing I really appreciate is that they ask how you want your dressing: light, medium, or heavy. Of course, I said heavy, because that Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette is so lovely! I honestly can’t imagine a salad without it — I’m officially in love with this bowl. 🥗💚
My only concern was the meat toppings being kept in tin holders — it made me wonder how long they’d been sitting there. Hopefully it’s a quick turnover and everything is freshly prepped, because food safety is important. As someone with allergies, I’m extra mindful about what I eat and where I eat.
Next time, I’ll go meat-free and make my protein at home, but I’ll definitely be back for that fresh, flavorful salad. This was my first time dining inside (the other times I ordered delivery to work), and it reminded me how important it is to visit the places that make our food.

“Always walk by and finally decided to try. They have a variety of bowls and bases. Outdoor seating and beachy indoor vibes.

I got the coco craze bowl. Coconut base, flax seed granola, coconut flakes, mango, banana, and pineapple. Regular size bowl. I downloaded the app and got 15% off as a first time order, so paid just over $15 with tax and a convenience fee of 50 cents.

Overall it was a great bowl, large enough that it lasted most of my work day. Only con is the coconut base melted pretty fast after I picked it up from the store, so it quickly became a juice with fruits.

“The bowls here are great! They don’t only look aesthetic but also have such a variety of ingredients— protein (salmon) to fiber (vegetables and seawood) to carbs (sushi rice) to health fats (avocado). It’s a super filling bowl and everything tastes great together.“

They are doing the best they can now, but I encourage it's new and established customers to purchase as many items there as they need. Raj, the manager is highly knowledgeable about the products, He knows his customers and caters to us. He is kind and generous and has given special attention to customers in the neighborhood. He visited my friend in the hospital after a major operation, with treats. Food For Health sells a vast variety of items including organic veggies, coffee, tea, dried and canned goods, dairy, smoothies, fresh peanut butter, frozen meals, snacks, spices, vitamins, etc, etc., etc.“
